Haha! That dig at Shanks was great! Man can't get a break for nothing on this channel... I mean, I've not chosen a side, but I appreciate how you take every opportunity to dunk on the Shanks fans. I will agree, though. Mihawk does look better. Moreover, the One Piece live action looks remarkably competent for a Netflix adaptation. Notice how Zoro is wearing the exact same shirt he canonically wore through-out Arlong Park? The color and pattern is bang-on accurate. They seem to be getting every little detail right, though I fear for what they'll do to Chopper. And, assuming they ever make it this far, I'm afraid of what will become of Carrot. And there's an entire cast of mink, including her, that they'll need to introduce later on for Wano. And then there's Kaido's dragon transformation, which I've never seen done well. Last time I saw a man transform into a dragon, it was when I saw "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation". No matter how you slice it, even if they lean into goofier/cheaper special effects (Which they can get away with, because it fits the tone of One Piece), they will still hit the wall in terms of budgeting. If this live action is a smash hit, it will quickly become one of the most expensive productions in world history. So the demand really needs to be there to justify making more episodes.

Stuff like the gear 5 animation hype makes me wish i hadn't caught up to the one piece anime yet. because gear 5's anime reveal is going to be amazing
