I've actually gone up on Thought Shucker a lot. UB wants to act at instant speed and the fact that blocks early, comes in installments, and cycles late is huge.

Bizarrely, late at 58:50, you actually were deceived by an Arena visual bug! They conceded and then it made you look like you drew the Consumed by Greed when Swamp was definitely on top, so on this one you can stand tall.

Also lol at "secret reach" even when they have the big glowing icon on it haha. I almost got myself the same way yesterday haha, they almost have to put a "are you sure you want to attack your flyer into this reach creature" warning on it like how they warn you whenever you target your own creature with a kill spell hahaha

When is it right to kick the Darkstar Augur? I also had it in my deck and kicked it a fair few times, but honestly it often felt like a detriment a lot of the time, the amount of life you can lose is so much! Like even when I was at 15 life or something if you hit a 5 or 6 drop and something else you can get yourself in trouble real quick.

augar always scares me in blue/black or green/black the card makes you lose life per turn and since your games take longer when you’re in those colors you can kill yourself really easily

GB at least has food to offset the lifeloss a little, but its hard to deploy all the cards you draw and crack food at the same time. It really is best in WB with lots of lifegain and RB with a low curve that can finish quickly (and has scales)

So you play augur but doesn’t it make you nervous to have those 4/5/6 drops? I’m always too scared to play it unless my whole deck is super low. 😂

I do! There’s some risk associated with it, but drawing 2 extra cards per turn is worth it. Especially when you have food like I did here

But how do you not splash a forest for the Hunter's Talent though....

Part of what makes Hunter's Talent so good is being able to kill an early drop and then using the second level to always have good attacks. If you're splashing it off very few sources, you're not in a good position to reliably use it in the early game, so it becomes a weaker card in your deck because of that context.

@@traviswichtendahl5648yeah having to lock up that green mana for 3 turns to START drawing cards is more of a cost than you’d think for sure
