▶ About Javed Ahmed Ghamidi:
Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

قرآن نے علم کے حصول کے جو ذرائع بیان کئے ہیں، وہ حواص و غورو فکر کی صلاحیت۔ حواص اور غوروفکر کی صلاحیتوں کو اللہ کی آیات پر مرکوز کرکے انسان علم حاصل کرتا ہے، اللہ کی آیات اللہ کی طرف سے نازل شدہ کتاب میں ہیں، انسانی نفس میں ہیں، (جس میں انسان کی مکمل انفرادی ذات ، یعنی جسم و نفس یعنی جسمانی اور نفسیاتی علوم اور اس کا اجتماعی معاشرہ ماضی حال اور مستقبل سمیت شامل ہیں، یعنی سوشل سایئنسز) اور آفاق یعنی کائنات میں ہیں۔ ( مادی سایئنسی علوم) یعنی مسلمان کے لیئے قرآن، انسان، اور کائنات پر غورو فکر کرنا۔ یعنی قرآن، سوشل سایئنسز،نفسیاتی علوم، اور مادی کائنات کے علوم۔ قرآن کے مطابق انبیاء علیہم السلام انسان کو جس ترتیب سے تعلیم دیتے ہیں وہ کچھ یوں ہے۔ کَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا فِیۡکُمۡ رَسُوۡلًا مِّنۡکُمۡ یَتۡلُوۡا عَلَیۡکُمۡ اٰیٰتِنَا وَ یُزَکِّیۡکُمۡ وَ یُعَلِّمُکُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ وَ الۡحِکۡمَۃَ وَ یُعَلِّمُکُمۡ مَّا لَمۡ تَکُوۡنُوۡا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۱﴾ؕ ۛ سورت البقرہ ۔ جس طرح ہم نے تم میں تمہیں میں سے رسول بھیجا جو ہماری آیتیں تمہارے سامنے تلاوت کرتا ہے اور تمہیں پاک کرتا ہے اور تمہیں کتاب و حکمت سکھاتا ہے، اور وہ چیزیں سکھاتا ہے جن سے تم بے علم تھے ۔ یعنی تعلیم کی ابتدا ویوزکیکم سے ہوتی ہے۔ اسلام کے مطابق صحیح اور منافع بخش علم کے حصول کی ابتدا تزکیہ نفس سے ہوتی ہے۔

ظرف برتن کو کہتے ہیں کم ظرف یعنی چھوٹا برتن اور برتن رکھنے والے کو باظرف کہتے ہیں غامدی صاحب سے مزید وضاحت درکار ہے ؟

It’s about what we call ‘ Life Skills’ an educated person may lack life skills comparing to someone who is uneducated who has got life skills . Usually we see in Asian countries where people in general have very poor life skills though they may be educated .
