I just adore the etched/carved ones. The technique is really cool. The matte versus gloss contrast is so beautiful. And I love that they have no handles. Something about it makes them feel so warm and soothing. I can picture myself holding it with two hands and just hugging it to my face while breathing in a warm cup of tea.

I wish you had used a more whiteish/silvery colour for the Moon Flower, as I actually grow them in my garden, and those turned out looking more like my heavenly blue Morning Glories instead… But there is nothing better than a blank canvas!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely beautiful gorgeous lovely and sweet! I especially love the 2nd lot with the glaze and the wash. The carved out designs are fab with the contrast of gloss and matte. And the really busy flowers with blue and yellow matching inside glaze are so pretty.

These are lovely! The sun and moon are so different from your "usual" style, but came out really lovely. An idea I'd love to see on a future piece with a flat area, would be to do your usual Australian natives and floral designs, but limit yourself to black and white underglaze - you could of course mix them to get shades of grey too. I think the Aussie natives motifs might look stunning in monochrome on a piece made with coloured clay. 😊

*GASP!* The Teacups! The lineart on the first ones was really great! The carving on the second looks really nice. Both sets of Flower teacups look really lovely. Just kinda loving how all these turned out this week. Little sad they don't have matching saucers but considering you ultimately painted 8 teacups and had to fire each multiple times, I think it's fine only doing the teacups. Also adore the theme this week. Also, also, had to make sure to type parts of this as the video went because I just loved them all. So good.

Oooh, Shelby! I'm a sucker for a good tea cup! I can't decide which one I like the best. They're all so good for different reasons. And I have to tell you, I had to laugh tonight, because for some reason, in your opening shots of choosing the mould, I thought you had a llama pinata hanging off the shelves, and this time I realised it was bunches of dried flowers.
