What is ISAC & SHD Tech || Lore / Story || The Division 2

Agents are hand-picked from various aspects of society, run through a grewling vetting process, and if successful, they are hard trained by top tier SHD operatives.
This training is then continued on for the remainder of their service.
But this isn’t all that they’re equipped with.
Division Agents are armed with state of the art weapons and gear, including SHD technology and the ISAC AI system.
In this video I’ll be covering the gear that all Division Agents are issued after they have become full fledged SHD operatives.
Starting from the most basic of equipment, through to the most advanced technology that the Strategic Homeland Division has at their disposal.

Haha good one! But tech has nothing to do with muscle memory and steadiness! Most ppl who are trained even SWAT team members use silencers on there guns not for stealth either because a silencer isn't really silent but it does help with recoil that's why there used! Movies/shows and games all get silencers wrong! You can't just put one on any gun then it's magically silent! Anybody who knows even a small amount about guns knows that the only way to make a gun even kinda silent you need the proper gun, caliber, silencer, and subsonic bullets!..

Duh no u I personally think there shouldn’t be, at least for a long time. With where it’s at now, the game doesn’t have a REAL ending. The dev team has lots of space to add story line and such. Plus, the fan base loves everything about this game. It’s not wise to tear down the goldmine they have to start anew when they can just keep building upon the story through TD2

I think that the division has access to nono tech allowing for fast healing from bullets, knifes and more. you can tell by the healing skills in the game and how you can recover from near a dead stat but it takes time and it dos have limits as shown by the first wave.

I live in an independent living apartment building over 55 and disabled. Part of the fire safety watch here and going to bed with your socks on is not as crazy as it sounds sometimes we have a matter of seconds to get dressed and get out the door to check on Neighbors. Every second we save could save someone else if we have to evacuate the building due to a fire period, so in my opinion it's not nuts it's actually being smart. There are two of us on each floor ., and our job is to alert everyone else, get as many people as we can downstairs . and also get residents who need Mobility assistance 2 designated areas in the stairwells where fire rescue will take over getting them to safety

I wish we could go back to the uncluttered look of agent, like in TD1. The specialization weapons are an unnecessary addition to the backpack. Maybe if there ever will be another game, we could make it disappear the same way, we can make our filtration mask visible at all times, not just in the DZ or contaminated areas.

Question. When an agent goes ROGUE, what will the gear do? Isaac? Does the red mean that the agent ID and thereby the watch are blocked to use any SHD tech and logistics? Does it still have a function for them?

When an agent activates rogue protocol or even does an action that goes against SHD protocol. ISAC is programmed to instantly mark you as a rogue (even though most D2 agents do it for survival). Their gear would do virtually nothing, apparently there’s no contingency that locks the agent’s gear as they’re connected to the agent. When the watch turns red, this means any agent nearby are designated to neutralize the rogue or capture them. As for logistics, rogues are blocked from leaving specific locations if they’re in the presence of a SHD turret - other agents + JTF. TL;DR, if you’ve played the D1 & D2, you can still use your gadget (maybe in a live action, they wouldn’t be able to but I don’t think that’s the case).

Drazler Creation However, ISAC can and will automatically lock the agent temporarily (depending on their status) out of the network. Thus, once being completely rogue, the agent will lose access to their allies, safe houses, and other such.

Not sure if it has been asked here. But i wanna know if they can turn off their smartwatch and brick's brightness to a bare minimum? Imagine going to a dark place to ambush a patrol or do a covert mission, only to have your cover blown by a bright orange light.

In D2, out in the sunny days, the brightness on your brick and watch are lowered to an extreme as opposed to D1, which is on at all times. This is probably to lessen the chances of a agent being spotted but who would need a light on at all times during the day? As for the dark, I believe they could, ISAC automatically decreases the brightness but a agent could alter this via their watch.

Indeed, there weren’t any contingencies or solutions for this. The SHD is meant to be autonomous, every agent could be smart or dumb, it’s all a complete mess but at the end of the day, they’re all meant to restore the government, settlements, and peace by any means necessary. The network isn’t fully down as they still have the SHD cores and nodes active.

Rodrigo Chen Yeah, in California by the Golden Gate Bridge. It showed the agents waiting for it to reactivate, because they have 3 bunker cores in the central United States that all command and funnel resources to the main branches of the SHD. As for the country wide shut down of the network, this caused most Division gadgets to shut off due to this but those in Washington DC still had access because they reactivated a SHD node.

Rogue or disavowed agents are locked out of the SHD network. That being said, Keener is smart and likely would have disabled any way to track him. Plus ISAC isn’t in every agent. It’s more of a collective thing. It’s an AI program. It can be accessed and used simultaneously among many agents.

Is how did all those guns get into New York when it's when of the strictest cities in America when it comes to guns! I think it would depend on the situation. Under normal circumstances, the special forces hands down. But without any sort of leadership or support function, they may struggle to improvise to the same sort of level.

@@NGN I agree with you. The major advantage for the Special Forces is that they actually have many combat experience while SOME Division agents are just still civilians or were in law enforcement. The Division Agents like Khajika type who were in Special Forces would give them a fight.

Indeed, I can’t wait for them to add a rogue faction where whenever you go rogue in the DZ, you hear Anna’s voice activate. That’ll be sick, but I’m worried since then everybody would wanna go rogue. (As for actual purposes, Anna would probably be exclusive to those who are permanently rogue rather temporary disavowing protocol). ISAC can’t tell the difference and I think Anna will.
