My grandmother was born in Ukraine and came to the United States after WWII. She loved her home but was an even prouder American. She passed away last year, but having never been there myself, I have to say that I find these videos into that land of such strange dualities like EuroVision and nuclear missile bases absolutely fascinating. I'm so glad that this strange and sadly tumultuous country was your first pick to document, for at least my sake to have a small glimpse over her home country. And Drew, your optimism and genuine care into your work makes for a refreshing change in an "influencer" filled world. I wished you luck when you left Giant Bomb, but now I don't need to because Cloth Map has been absolutely amazing, much more than I ever thought (no offense!). On all fronts, thank you.

A video of Drew in a Nuclear missile base, and a video of Drew at Eurovision. I think this series has peaked frankly. Or at least, I've gotten my money's worth from it. Other than Drew going to space, we've hit the major milestones.

Holy crap. Drew, I didn't know you had already gotten Cloth Map up and running, and it was a positive surprise on reddit.com/r/videos! I've been following your stuff ever since you started working at giantbomb, and I was excited to see what you'd get up to once you left. This video seems like me being bummed out by you leaving GB was unwarranted, it's amazing. I'm thuroughly looking forward to similar videos in the future. Of course, being Swedish, the Eurovision is an interesting subject - but nevertheless I'm looking forward to any content you put out in the future, and you can be sure I'll support your endeavours on Patreon as soon as I stop being a poor student. Thanks for the quality content!

This was really fantastic, especially as a look behind the curtain of one of the strangest shows on Earth. I've been watching Eurovision since the 90s and often times I really do wonder why but this sort of affirms why for me. Because it's this rather unique weirdly strange but ultimately enjoyable and happy thing. It never feels like its worth the time but every year even if I turn it on abit late I always find myself watching it.

Loving the start to Cloth Map Drew. Honest constructive criticism is that transitions could be a bit cleaner. Also such a shame you only had the little camera, cause you could've got much better low light shots, wider angles and use the shotgun mic to help the audio when talking to camera. Regardless, I fucking love that you're pushing forward with Cloth Map and can't wait for more videos.

Just wanted to chime in on the "this isn't about games" comments. Personally, these videos are so high quality that I don't really care. Besides, Eurovision is loosely a game, and the bunker stuff was because so many video games have you going through abandoned missile bunkers. I wouldn't mind more of a connection to games, but so far these have been entertaining nonetheless.
