When the observer, is not the observed, you are aware, conscious, i am. No preconceptions, no thought to self, only present senses, you are aware. Once you step forward from awareness, consciousness, i am, you then become unaware, unconscious, as the observer, is the observed, within your false mind created ego, filled with old images, thoughts and sense of self filtering your present senses. I started reading commentries on living , saw that K mostly starts every chapter with a short story or a visualisation but I don't really understand why it's there, what is the significance and relation of this with related to what is written next. Can someone please enlighten me on this?

My teacher told me that if you look at something long enough, you will eventually understand it; so maybe you should just ponder it a little more and then you will discern the relationship between the stories and subsequent talks that are given by the master. ❤
