Another educational video. Keep up the great work. You should have thousands of more subscribers because your content is so good. Never heard of Spark or maildrop until this video. When I do send multiple photos I never recognized the size options or the MB each size consisted of. This was fun to learn!

Hi Marion, usually it’s an attachment that’s too large to send. So yes you should be able to download whatever the attachment is such as photos, large files etc. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your mail drop clip. I have an old ipad2 but cannot find access to mail drop or an option to change size of file. I have ios15.5.

Hi Lynn it should work on your iPad. Are you signed into iCloud? Have you attached a file large enough to trigger Mail Drop? It should be greater than 20MB. Once you add a file larger than 20MB the Mail Drop option should appear. Let me know if you need more assistance.

I have just found your site and it’s been very helpful for me, my question is I use an iPhone and iPad plus an iMac but my wife uses an android phone can I send her large files via mail drop or does it only work between apple products ? Keep up the videos they are very helpful indeed. Trevor from Western Australia. Ps is there a reason you use spark and not the installed apple mail ?

Hi Trevor! Thanks for the kind words. MailDrop should work sending large files even if if your wife is using an android phone. I use Spark because of some of the features it has that Apple Mail doesn’t. That may all change with iOS and iPadOS 16. If you have any more questions let me know.

Sorry if you haven't downloaded withint 30 days the link expires and you'll need to contact the person who sent you the link to send another one.

I have no idea why its not working. Im trying to send a video to my phone with my pc. But when I download it, its just a blank picture of a folder. I downloaded the same email link with my pc and for some reason, that comes out as the video I wanted. Idk why my phone doesnt see it as a video

Alan Ellen, this is mark, from the west country of England, I appreciate your approach, I hope you do really well with it, it is so important for the coming generations, that our elders have access to proper Lee paste properly paste paste PACED paste Instruction on how to use the iPhone and Mac and iPad, and all of that malarkey I would love to see a video of you recording how to dictate, as I tried to above, and failed, the word PACED, which I have only managed to get my iPhone 6 to iPhone 6 two Transcribe by spelling it out, letter by letter. And, it won’t even get the number of my phone right, I would have to dictate the number one, then the number six, for it to work, as below: iPhone 16 new paragraph , and it still cannot understand it about 70% of the time when I say the words new, paragraph, it just types out new paragraph until I say those two words several times, one after the other, like I just love your accent, and would really appreciate knowing which exact town you are from in the United States! Me, I have a south east accent, I was born on an island of England, called the Isle of Sheppey Very best wishes, Mark

Thanks so much Mark! Dictation can be finicky. You need good pronunciation and then I always have to clean it up before saving or sending. Hopefully iOS 18 will make it better.
