Mongolia and other countries with nomads/nomadic history just fascinate me. All that beautiful flat land... I wish to see it one day

😂😂😂😂😂😂 EVERY COUNTRY WAS ONCE NOMADIC.

@@HH-kg4fqmongolia was known for it’s nomadic history because that’s all they really had for a long time and they stayed nomadic all throughout history. Many mongolians are still living the nomadic lifestyle.

@@HH-kg4fqimportant thing those countries were and not now: Mongolia is one of a few countries with real nomadic lifestyle. They would move every season and build their “ger” etc

@@username15yearsago52 I'm from Mongolia and actually most ppl live in nomadic lifestyle and sometimes if we are somewhere far away from the city we stop at someone's ger and stay a few mins Ger means house btw but mostly it's called Maikhan witch means tent

I have a question ! for a country with such incredibly small census how did they manage to become the largest empire in the world was there population much larger at some point in history or were they always that small population wise
@user-kx8zq5xi7x2 ай бұрын
They never had a lot of people they were just the largest land empire of all time. They got big because of the military tactics that Genghis Khan used such as horse archery with stirrups and pretend retreats

@@user-kx8zq5xi7x yet it baffles my mind how such small population were this much advanced and advanced tactically in comparison to the rest of the world..because huge militaries were already present at their time countries with higher populations yet they were demolished by the mongols what is it were they just a better human species i just can’t wrap my head around it i have so many questions and Ive been researching so much about it but the answers are just not convincing enough idk

Nowadays it is mostly only in Mongolia, the new generation of mongolian in Inner Mongolia are Chinese, they don't learn Mongolian, and cities now look like just a Chinese cities which is very sad. Meanwhile in Mongolia country the culture is reincarnating
