Or are you saying that someone who has a partner for 20 years, gets divorced, and then has another partner for 10 years is "not monogamous" ? @@palewaste because cheating implies that someone has been cheated, i.e. That they've lost something, and cheating in a relationship you do lose trust and the promise that you had between yourselves. Non-monogamy isn't cheating any more than having more than one friend is. When your friend has another pal you haven't lost something from your friendship. Some people see romantic and sexual relationships in a similar way. The point is to have relationships of all types that add to your life. Also, other people having relationships that bring them joy doesn't make your monogamous relationships any less valuable. You are also just living in a way that suits you.
