I have never minded when someone makes money,if you are providing a service you deserve to be compensated. Its up to the watcher of the videos to determine if the particular person os being honest or being a shill. People must learn to do they've own research on everything. With that being said i do appreciate an honest opinion whether good or bad, i appreciate hearing the particulars,everything has pros and cons nothing regardless of price is perfect. But if something isnt good i want to know about it especially if it relates to durability etc. I watch KZbin videos and read reviews to get a baseline opinion its up to me what i do with the information. After years of purchasing just about anything iam more of the buy once cry once philosophy.

I progressed in Ham radio starting with a pair of Baofengs, then a 25 watt Btech, then a 50 watt Btech, then an SDR dongle, then an upconverter, then a Xiegu G90. Budget says that may be as far as I go ... well except for making antennas. I'm probably up to 15 DIY on those. Happy Camper with the hobby.

I had a ham radio channel and there was pressure to say good things about their product. I do not trust ham radio (or any) KZbin reviews. It's like reading Amazon reviews. I don't blame the channels but more KZbin and manufacturers pressuring people to say good things for views and sales.

Never had pressure and you must not have made that clear to them. I do what I want, including videos like this to try to thin out the bullshit subscribers. Understand this, the MOST pressure I ever got was from viewers, with absolutely STUPID requests, profanity in my PO Box and email. I tell everyone the same thing as I did in this video. “If you don’t like my videos, PLEASE UNSUBSCRIBE AND NEVER WATCH AGAIN.

I rather someone give there own opinion on products them go by a scipt from someone else . The best thing to do is watch others talk about the product and compaire them to one another you will know who is reading a scrip and the one who being honest about the radio. Most of the time I have to say.

I KI5HZZ got into ham radio because of #KJ4YZI I started two YT channels from watching Eric Off Grid Wood and Aught Esoteric I bought a Radioddity QT40 because of Eric's video and its a great radio I have talked to people seven thousand miles away from my ham shack, maybe we should move all our content to X because the YT crowd has just become weird
