The plastic section modulus is effectively equal to the parallel axis theorem for Ad^2 except without the square term. Sum individual bodies above and below the PNA and multiply each body by their respective differences from the PNA to their centroid. Yes, I used their as in they have an identity. Because every "body" matters in engineering.
