You have a nice approach to it all. I am a beginner of controlled breathing and a new subscriber. You have a great six-pack stomach area which is great for those not trying to make a religion out of nit. I can see how pulling one's stomach in and lifting their spinal column up to their neck can be great for posture and core strength.

I am a senior citizen and I must say I rue the fact that I did not start earlier. Your explanation is detailed and quietly inspiring. Maybe in the next lifetime, I will have the proficiency that you have. Namaste.

one thing/word I hate in Pranayama practices is "hold". to hold is to be stuck and do damage. the proper words are suspense and release. it looks like a hold, but there is life, the motion in it. in inhalation, there might be no more air coming in, but the prana is still rising, in exhalation, there might be no more air going out, but there is still the subtle movement of the prana receding to its source. it is a stupid thing to think you can hold the prana. nature of prana is motion. if you think you can stop this motion, well, good luck with that.
