What is Project 2025 and why is Trump distancing himself from it?

Former President Donald Trump is working to distance himself from Project 2025, an ultra-conservative set of policy recommendations put together by the Heritage Foundation and led by two former Trump administration officials. It's definitely going to affect me. I mean I don't know what I'll do with all the extra money I make and all the extra spending room I'm going to have.
