What is Qualitative vs. Quantitative Research?

THANK YOU!! I keep having to make the distinction between these when analyzing research papers, and when the research method is mixed, I have such a hard time distinguishing between which parts are qualitative and which parts are quantitative. You simplified it perfectly, this was super helpful!
