AC doesn’t work in single phase where it’s shared by whole house and the voltage is very volatile and low in my village. So I took 3 phase which costed me around 25k. Finally the ac started working with a dedicated line. We split one for heavy appliances and other for lights and fans and one for AC

I have one doubt... We know AC current will changes 50 times per second.. According to this theory phase will be neutral and neutral will be phase per second.. Then why we cannot get a indication light on tester when we insert the tester in neutral on plug??
@shahulhameeda21724 жыл бұрын
Circuit will not be closed until you make phase and neutral contact with each other. Current flows only in closed circuits in other words electron flows only when there is a potential difference. When u insert tester in an open plug it's not a load connected circuit.
@nkakash23924 жыл бұрын
u can't able to see the difference in naked eyes. take your Mobile and take slow motion video and than see the frequency oscillation...
@Godwintgn4 жыл бұрын
1. Neutral always be earthed so when you put tester the potential difference is 0 so it won’t glow. 2. If the neutral isn’t present in 3 phase supply means the tester will glow only when there is a difference in 3 phase voltage.
@chockalingamvijayakumar88123 жыл бұрын
When there is a cut in the neutral connection, if the earth is not proper, the neutral will get the potential will be reflected in the neutral and likely to get shock. Tester will also glow when there is neutral cut in the circuit.

You are doing a good job for the Tamil student. Even though I don't need this (I am old), for the knowledge I subscribed your channel. In North America all three phases are coming on the street. They split the single phase into two split phases before giving the supply to a house by using a transformer mounted on the electrical post and grounding at the middle.
