I remember when the first album dropped when I was in high school.. only being exposed to the likes of Korn, Metallica, etc it was the craziest album ever. I'd say (sic) because I just never heard anything that heavy before so it stays as my favorite to this day. And honestly it took a few listens to really get it because my musical vocabulary just wasn't up to par yet. Such a gateway drug of a band to heavier genres too!

Favorite: I Am Hated, got me into the band and that third verse with that breakdown 🤘 Best For Newcomers: Psychosocial, has the perfect balance of everything that is Slipknot. One Of The Most Underrated: Diluted, listen to it and you'll appreciate it more and more. New That Found Its Way In My Top 3: Solway Firth: It's Slipknot yet it's not. If you've been a fan of the band for years then you'll understand what I mean. It's heavy and brutal but it's a different type of heavy. It has this non stop intensity that doesn't seem to let up. Greatest Song By Them: Eyeless, it's the perfect encapsulation of what makes Slipknot Slipknot. All the elements are there. If you described what they sounded like to someone then Eyeless would be the song you're describing.

It's literally impossible to pick just one lol. Their first 2 albums are bangers! Tbh it just depends on your mood i think..Custer is amazing live, snuff is where you turn to when you feel sad, people=shit and the entire iowa album you go to when you're upset and angry..before I forget is a song you can sing with your friends..a song no one mentions a lot is if rain is what you want, I go to that song and feel isolated with just the music. Slipknot is just there always no matter what you are feeling. They've been there through the good and bad days and that's why they're my favorite band. I'm glad they're still going at it after all these years.
