I love how you mentioned that Philip immediately baptized the Ethiopian eunuch. I had that same revelation from the Holy Spirit when I heard a reformed pastor say that we couldn’t immediately baptize people after a profession of faith because we first had to examine them to see if they truly believed. When I heard him say that I was immediately reminded by the Spirit of that passage of scripture with Phillip and the eunuch. Philip didn’t examine him before baptizing him all Philip said was and I quote “If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest.” It’s about believing! I love how the Word of God and how the Spirit leads us to all truth. Everyone can take a pastors belief right away but if we are not in the Word we can’t be safe from deception. Search the scriptures brethren! And on what standard can we base ourselves before baptizing people? How good enough do you have to be to get baptized? I HATE Lordship Salvation! God bless.

I hate it too! I just got out of it and was following it for around 8 months. So grateful I saw some videos about it that piqued my interest. I’m forever grateful! And you know it seems rather close the Catholicism as well.

Heavy man. Suffering loss at the judgement seat of Christ is something to be reckoned with. This battle of the flesh is brutal at times but God’s grace is sufficient!!! Lord help us. Isn’t the literal application in context of Hebrews’ works in 10:26 & 27 for future tribulation remnant Israel who confess Christ & live by faith for those looking backwards to the Testimony of Jesus in the 4 gospels & the Testimony of the Holy Spirit for their doctrine in Hebrews- Revelation in order to “endure until the end” resisting the AntiChrist & the mark of the beast and the false Jews who end up tricking them and killing them. The remanant Israel will have to finish well as they recall to remembrance the former days of Christ’s earthly ministry.

I still don’t get Hebrews 10 If we sin wilfully can we not still confess and be forgiven? Also, the fires mentioned in this verse is designated for the enemies of God, not believers, it seems. (If we son wilfully there remains) only a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a fury of fire that will consume God's enemies I don’t get how this particular fire can be applied to believers. Help!

37:41 I love what you are preaching. However, you're losing me on one point. No one needs to lay hands on me so that I receive the Holy Spirit. No one needs to baptize me so that I received the Holy Spirit you have this all wrong. Over and over the apostle Paul teaches this point. When one comes to believe, like the sun comes up in the east and comes down in the west, It is a fact that he has taken to his heart and his soul and every part of his being and that we refer to as believing or faith. When anybody comes to the point where they totally believe in the death rail and resurrection and the shedding of blood of Jesus Christ and that Christ created everything in the universe with the word, they immediately receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and all of their sins past president and future have been taken care of by Christ. This is the miracle. This is the truth. This is how it happens. And the easiest way to explain it in the scriptures is in 1st Corinthians chapter 15 verses one through six and beyond.

Hi brother in Christ! I hope you are well today😊 I agree, I’m Blessed by his preaching as well. But to your concern, I didn’t hear Pastor Jesse say the laying on of hands was necessary but during the time of the apostles it did happen to show their authenticity that they were in fact sent by God. At 35:23 he begins to explain that. Also in Matthew 10:1 explains the power the apostles had. There could be more scriptures but that’s the one I could think of at the moment. God bless you!

Yes, we do not believe that laying on of hands is required to receive the Spirit today. The Spirit was being rolled out in the book of Acts alongside many other issues being handled concerning the Jew vs Gentile struggles. This is not "another gospel," but it is simply how God rolled out the indwelling of the Spirit. Now we know according to scripture that we receive the Spirit solely on the basis of faith alone in Christ alone - Eph 1:12-14 - Trent

@@BibleLine Thank you for your comments. And again I would just like to say that you need to stay in the epistles of Paul when you're speaking of salvation, and the gospel of grace. Otherwise, you will confuse people which again is something that you absolutely do not want to do. If you want to be very clear about it it is okay to talk about what the apostles under Peter James and John were doing after the crucifixion. But they were only doing it with the Jews!! But Paul makes it very clear that what Christ did on the cross he did for ALL PEOPLE . And the only thing they need to do is truly believe and have faith in Jesus Christ. For the work of the cross is totally, completely, unquestionably finished.
