Two elements here: 1. Yes there are bugs. Ive played alphas that are buggier or have less features or don't actually work, then got abandoned. There's enough here for me for now and I can work around the bugs. 2. I've been playing flight games since the wire frame star wars arcade game, though flight combat games on the spectrum, Amiga, commodore and the everything that has come since: wing commander on the SNES, free space, etc, etc This game is what I dreamed of playing when I was playing those games, plus you can see the influence of the traveller RPG system, star wars, Battlestar.... Does it suck that some days it just doesn't work. Yes. Are there some legendary days where amazing things happen. Yes. I'm here for the long game and enjoying what we have along the way

as a 2 year player, i must say, i never seen the vision of Chris, back then! prettyt nice to see, and compare it to now, how it really came together ( so far ) ! Sure, people say its already taken 10 years.... but then so does GTA , Skryrim..... among others.... i dont see the problem here.

Exactly, one game have to be the first and today we have the technology to create them. This is insane, we have Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen and Starfield as spearhead this is luxury.

I started one in the Pyro test server but only could get like 16 hours in. But I have a plan for a new one soon!

Star Citizen is really coming along. I have been here since 2019 been a ride but worth it so far!! There is no other game like it!

​@@trevor6752 while i can't speak for everyone. a good amount of people that do play this game also work in game development and i'll take my word and their word over a player any day. now that being said the development of SC is literality under a skeleton crew for each department. so under 10 to 5 dev per department and this is way way under what it should be and why its taking longer because the rest of the team is more focused on Sq42, the problem with this is SC becomes the piggy bank to fund both game but only 5% is new content while the rest is only reworks. if you can't make out that most of this game has been in a reworking state for over 8 years then u should go back and watch every video and you'll start to see it has been fighting time. while people have their own opinion of the game u should never try to attack them for having a opinion. i understand how game development works and SC is setting it up in a way to make it a 10 year plan and this is how every companies will focus on. the plan is always called the 10 year plan u don't want to make a product that only sells one time u need to setup a plan to get people addicted to buy out product every month to every 3 months just to keep things going. its a company that needs to feed families and jobs. but CIG is more focused on making a engine rather a game because with a engine u can make more then one game with it. just like what R* does with rage engine. so here we are Funding a mans dream to build a engine to build other games to have built a company that we the backer created for him so that his family will be set for life because now its a game studio with the money to keep building new games and investors once online. so lets recape the real goal here. get backers to pay them build a engine build a few games build a game studio now its a company and the goals are finished its not a investment because the backers don't get a stake in the stocks you just get 2 games but Investor are rolling in money and thank you for it. but you know u can go ahead and laugh at someone for spending over 10k to 25k and then ask them why they here.
