Pls I went to hospital and was told it was a bacterial infection after a lab test I experience fever headache difficulty in swallowing and chills I’ve taken the medicine the hospital gave me for 3days now but still experiencing the symptoms what should I do I can’t stand this

I was just diagnosed with a strep infection today and I was prescribed medicine for the infection. I hope it works because I got chills, swallow issues, saliva foaming, and acid reflux. For a week I been trying to stay hydrated and kept spitting foam. I got a new tooth brush, mouth wash, humidifier, and drinking tea.
