What is Technical Thrash Metal?

An often overlooked classic that hopefully is making a comeback. Many may be familiar with Technical Death Metal, but Technical Thrash Metal is often just lumped in as simply Thrash. Finally, someone mentions Revocation. Whenever someone brings up the new wave of thrash metal Revocation almost never gets brought up or mentioned. Yeah their current stuff is pretty proggy ngl but I still love this band to death and the more recognition they get the better.

On of my favourites so far as technical thrash goes is Havok, whilst their themes are closer to regular thrash, the music is damn good, and they have the fun detail of being aggressively direct about the theme(s) of the song.

I guess Sadus would be my all time favorite tech thrash band. They have such a fast unrelenting and chaotic vibe to them. Most of my friends back in high school couldn't handle it and some straight up said they HATED Sadus, but we were young and they were foolish.

​@@whatsinameme5258if its not done theres several microgenres: emo mathcore - fall of troy, non big songs underoath and the song one of us is the killer, theres what i would call melodic mathcore: dillinger escape plan, norma jean, and 7 angels 7 plagues and regular which is converge, code orange, vein fm etc

Maybe. To be honest, when I made that video, I was in the process of moving, and I intended for it to be all 50 in one video, to give a long video before my hiatus, but the time crunch made me have to choose between giving up on the video or separating it into parts. So I just uploaded what I already had finished. I am not opposed to finishing it, but its a lot of work for what only a few would appreciate, so it hasn't been my top priority, but it has been in the back of my mind. I hope to get to it eventually.

Au contraire, my friend...😆Have you watched the video to Batushka's Yekteniya IV? Easy! Make it about martyrdom and how gory it is...have enough Goregrind and Noise elements into the mix, and voila! Makes you be in a thoughtful state of solemness too, as well as the usual headbanging, lel. (Just make sure to stay rather subtle about the sexier parts of the bible, else it will encroach too much into Pornogrind's territory as well)
