It's awesome to see Poppy's I Disagree album here, her transformation from pop to metal is a welcome one. And those iwrestledabearonce clips hit me with nostalgia, it's always fun to go back to that album.

What do you think of Buckethead? I have recently gotten into more of his music and I think that albums like Kaleidoscalp and Inbred Mountain fall into the Avant Garde Metal category.

I don't care what anyone else thinks of evanesence. When I first heard fallen when I was around 9 it was amazing to me and still holds up to this day. I've been listening to fallen and the open door on repeat just recently.

The most ironic thing is about RLM wanting the Star Wars prequels to be an 80’s film is that Lucas asked Spielberg and Zemeckis to direct the prequels. They told Lucas that he should make the prequels.

LIKE THE VIDEO! Have you heard how badly the title sceamo is misused currently ? I really don't want to point fingers, but the entire scene has a representation that doesn't care about the history of metal or intrinsically what Nu Metal was. You did good dude!🙂

Melodic death metal is by far the most consistent genre of metal. I enjoy most styles and subgenres of metal, but the thing is that all of them have few good standout bands and the rest are just meh at best or just downright terrible. Melodic death metal in my opinion has the most decent bands cause there's like hundreds of different Swedish bands from the Gothenburg sound, a ton of Finnish bands and almost all of them sound unique and the musicianship is amazing. You can't play stuff like this if you are a shit tier guitarist.

It's actually pretty good. I remember making that comment while listening to the playlist, and even getting a laugh from a friend, but when I relistened to it while making the video, it sounded much better for some reason. I might have corrected that part, but I really wanted this done before Christmas.

Double reaction. Wow. I guess I hit a spot. "Bad" also easily adds up to "impersonation". SJ are of course very retro and traddy. But this is what they are liked for. So bad they can't play now in their original format due to the Russian-Ukrainian war. You have at least to check out their song "I'm the mountain".

Despite people thinking they are unique with discovering this genre, the average stoner rock playlists were all curated by KZbin recommendations. The Spotify lists are in turn based on those recommendations, while RYM painfully adheres to Scaruffi's list.
