I am a bit of a contrarian I suppose. I dunno, I think Right Now and Ya'll Want a Single are classics. KoRns albums are always hit and miss. I don't think any of them are consistently good. But I think the only reason that record gets so much hate is just because the Nu-Metal trend was on it's way out at the time. But I think it's still a better record overall than Untouchables or Follow the Leader, or even Life is Peachy. if you just think KoRn sucks in general tho, I guess that's fair.

Hey, thanks for talking about more than just her physical beauty. True beauty, as any man knows, is more complex than perky assets, but of course is helped by such. I'm glad Eve shows this, where so many of her contemporaries could not. There is definitely a war on femininity, and has been for about eighty years. Initially, Frankfurt School implementations of social value systems. The 'sexual revolution' as a product of Americanism. And, ofc, incentives against grace, virtue or even motherhood. In an increasingly bleak West, for both sexes, it is good we have storytelling that is compelling for myriad reasons; exalt beauty! for there is only Truth in that.

Stellar blade strangely reminds me a bit of one of my favorite mid games: Mad Max. Maybe it’s the cozyness of a post apocalypse sand setting? Almost an extreme version of your early vid on soft apocalypse! I also got burnt out at SotE ER dlc, I have played all souls likes from soft and that was the first time I said to myself “I am not enjoying this” maybe because I got older and have responsibilities now so I cant sit 6 hours per day learning a boss move set. On the insincerity at 11:45, Synthetic Man made a vid recently as well on an indie game ranting on how no media seems to take itself seriously and they all have to break the 4th wall with nihilism or angry sarcasm as in a “I am better than this cheesy story” but it has been so overdone that now THAT is a trope in itself, thank you millennial writing!

Yes, if you haven't seen it already, I actually made a top 10 games list a couple months ago, and put Mad Max on it, though I can see why someone would say it's mid. Honestly if I made that list again now, I might replace Mad Max with Stellar Blade. Though I still like that Mad Max game a lot. It has such a great atmosphere. The first three souls games: Demon's Souls, DS1, and DS2 didn't require you to "learn move sets" for hours. I hate that it's just the norm now, that every boss is a physics defying acrobats with arena wide attacks. Those first three games were better than the following ones. I've watched that Synthetic Man video, and I agree.

@@whatsinameme5258 Yes I saw your vid, loved it and had at least 4 which I would also place in my top 10. I said “mid” not in a bad way at all but as fun way to describe a game I had zero expectations from and whose whole is much better than any of its parts (which many are “generic”). As for DS types now every battle has you waiting 20 anime moves that clutter the screen with delays for a single attack on your side, older DS was more like 3 or 4 and BB and Sekiro had a way more aggressive play style were it was almost all the time in offensive. It seems to win you need to have in game knowledge of meta weapons and tears, be over leveled, cheese or learning a single boss for countless runs (and if you don’t say ER is the best 10/10 fs game you get the crazy fanboys crying). Its almost like they made those bosses with tears in mind with how many area attacks and relentless spams they have.

I suppose so, but I attribute that as sort of grandfathering it in. You could also say that Super Smash Bros is carrying over the bimbo archetype just because Bayonetta is in the game. Bayonetta is acceptable because it's the product of a bygone era, but any attempt at a new character in a similar vein is considered taboo.

I predict we will be seeing a mix of beauty and sincerity in direct opposition to the irony and ugliness of the postmodern era. It's only logical - people are already fed up with the snarky nihilistic nonsense. It just takes a bit for the media - games and movies - to catch up. Also - the bigger the machine, the bigger the momentum, so we will be seeing a lot of garbage from the giant corporations for years still, whereas smaller companies and indies will shift more quickly. Personally, I'm well already in the other direction with my own gaming project.

ooof...I am at the part of ending of missions being somewhat good. it was in my 2nd playthrough I decided to tell the guy in the submersed area that his friend's had died...when I came back later I found that he had commited the ultimate act. I dont often just stand still in shock but I was really sad about that he decided to take his life... what made me even more sad was Eve's response. it was in korean so I am not sure if it was like that in english as well, but it almost sounded like she was at the verge of tears at her hard decision to tell him the truth.

at 17:44 a mob makes a gesture A, if that gesture doesnt lead to an action B, but randomizes its action, then it means the game makers are toying you, i want quicksave, anyone who doesnt agree is lacking in brain capacity as a human, quicksave is the best defense against game maker's harassment. if no quicksave, fine but then provide with complete logical procedures and no confirmation clicks to make my fingers damaged, if not, the game will be deleted and returned. at 22:38 never compel to dig through lore...., i think you may have to make an exception for this, this stellar blade has the MOST PROFOUND lore, even transcends philosophy as to why or how the mother sphere's most adaptive AI's perfect logic defined a human, when her prime directive was to protect all humans, one youtuber explained and took my lungs away. at 25:09 raven to me is NOT a minor char, she was a tormented AI who found the mother's real plot about redefining humans, so her AI lost the track, doesnt know what to do, from a human slayer to an android slayer. raven is also TOO deep a meaning to me.

Interesting points. As for the lore, you may be correct, but I guess the reason I find Dark Souls lore more intriguing, is the complete lack of info given to you in cutscenes and in general. Whereas Stellar Blade has so many cutscenes, and so much text to read, that it gets a bit exhausting after awhile. But I will acknowledge there is a lot there. Maybe I'll look into it more. I do like the world of the game.

@@whatsinameme5258 i agree, who wants to read all notes. but i got this itch to scratch, so i searched why... 1st i thought adam was committing suicide by saving eve, like he got tired of being a last one with human DNA and as if testing eve if her race could fit to rule, so he was showing her human tourism if she could learn some human values, but they were all androids...i lost the redefinition of a human

This was a great video on all of this not gonna lie you almost had me convinced man even though I still don't like the game personally for some reasons but you did pretty well with this again. I thank all of my hardcore or real diehard, boomer elitist gamer fans for making the word "casual" so tainted in my mind yet they'll be playing Fortnite or Genshin Impact every so often and I hate those games personally because I could never get into them nor were they just weren't my thing.

IDK, it's hard to put into words except for the stuff I saw in Stellar Blade or more importantly the "Coomer" fan service I see in games sometimes just becomes so tiring or exhausting in my opinion.

It is a PS5 exclusive, so that might be a barrier. It is literally one of the two PS5 games I own, and I only have the PS5 out of sheer happenstance. But praise where it's due. It is a great game.
