Hi guys! So this issue seems to be getting pretty serious, as it should when dealing with a contamination issue. Please watch Rawbeautykristi's video on this subject. It is very in-depth and informative. I will not be using my lipsticks any longer and I would recommend that you do not either. This is an issue that needs to be directly addressed and handled by the company. If there is any chance at all that these lipsticks could be harmful in anyway they need to be recalled to protect the consumer. I would love to hear your thoughts! Love you guys 💖

Yes you get a confirmation with your replacement order and it says shipping $12 something but they don’t actually charge you that money. It’s not an invoice.

I think she deserves to be torn into the way Thatgirlshayxo, or Raw Beauty Kristy, or Marlena Stell from MUG did. Even Jen Luvs Reviews did a live stream this morning cancelling the JH Brand on her channel, and she is one of the nicest there is. Image it taking 5 year's to launch, then sending your customers expired, contaminated lipstick that was made in a dirty ass lab, all at a premium price. I agree with you that Alexandria is nice, but don't take away from the smaller influencers who are putting their careers on the line right now speaking out, by saying they are doing it for views. They aren't. They are doing it because the product is crap and Jaclyn is a liar who refuses to step up and be accountable. It's a contaminated product that poses a health risk and should be recalled.

Nicole - some of them are doing it for views. You shouldn’t generalize like that. Also, not everyone received bad lipsticks, including Raw Beauty Kristy. One of her full sets was in good condition but she pretty much focused only on the bad one (which the bad one was really really bad and nothing like what Alexandria received). You can tell that Alexandria had no mean spirited intentions behind her review at all. She even put her “fuzzy” lipstick on several times without worrying for her health. It’s just a different mindset. Some people out there just love to hate and are very negative regardless of having a good reason or not to behave in that way.

As a nurse for over 20 years, the microscopic images in RawBeautyKristi’s video made me scared for any/everyone that has used these lipsticks. I truly believe the health and safety of people are at risk. These lipsticks are clearly contaminated and if someone who is immunocompromised or someone with an allergy to the contaminants were to use them, the range of adverse health effects could be anything from swelling, itching, hives, all the way up to anaphylactic shock and even death. This is serious and I strongly advise people not to use these lipsticks on their body in any way whatsoever. Do not exchange, get a refund. Lastly, remember insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result-continuing to believe the mis-truths coming from JH over and over again with each and every launch is just that-insanity. Please keep all of this in mind! *I am so thankful for you and to all the other honest, genuine, and caring KZbinrs that are calling attention to this issue!*

Yessss!! I don't wear alot of lip stuff bc in super sensitive but nyx has the Butter line and it is great! And no drama and affordable.. I have a bunch of Jeffree Star lipsticks that I bought an initially for my lips but the only way I can use them it to use a tiny bit with a lot of Carmex or as eyeshadow. But that's because I'm so sensitive..

Hi guys! So in todays video we take a look at the new Jaclyn Hill lipsticks! I filmed this before I had watched any other reviews but I had heard about shipping issue and lipstick having defects and breaking so I wanted to share my ordering/shipping experience and what condition my lipsticks came in. The little hunks in the lipstick are interesting and some have said there might be a crystallization issue happening. I do know that the chunks I have been removing are quite hard and do not melt. Im not sure if that is something that could happen with mango butter but it doesn't seem like something that should be in the lipstick. I would love to hear your thoughts though! Overall I actually enjoyed the lipstick. It felt nice on the lips, was very pigmented, and I really liked the color perfectionist. I think they need to address the grainy issue and just let people know what is going on with that though. Do I think these are a must purchase lipstick? Probably not. Im sure you could find very comparable lipsticks for less money. Let me know all your thoughts! Love ya! 💖

For as much as those lipsticks are I would be calling for a refund because they shouldn't be any imperfections in the lipsticks. Other KZbinrs are having some of the same issues with their as well. If you don't want a refund I would at least all for a replacement to see if it is a while shade issue or if it's just that one lipstick, know what I mean. Love the video as usual. Keep it up Alex your amazing!!

The same problem you have with your lipsticks is the same problem I have heard. Which is really weird. I would love to know why she hasn't yet made a KZbin video approaching the issue her customers/fan base are having. Or maybe she has and I haven't yet seen it. Because those pieces you had in your lipstick is not from your skin. that is coming out of the lipstick itself.

Beautiful lipsticks... but from a sanitary stand point, I'm concerned about the bumps/linty bits you saw on one of the lipsticks once you took it out of the package. A new lipstick straight from the factory or warehouse shouldn't appear to have lint on it.

From what I read online after seeing your video, it looks like Ms. Hill has some serious quality control issues. Perhaps she launched these products prematurely. Photos from other buyers show chunks of who-knows-what and/or lint-like filaments in their lipsticks as well. As pretty as the colors are, you might want to hold off using them until there's more information about these mystery ingredients. Cheers, Ardith

Steph mine came all the way from ca to nj. it’s so sad hearing all who got melted, crusty or hairy lipstick. mine can perfectly fine, as they should. I used it once, I didn’t get gritty or bumpy, i did notice it had textured lines, but nothing chunky or grainy. maybe I just got lucky/a good batch. I hope everyone having issues gets refunded.

Alexandria, I had sinus infections for over a year and a half straight, no break. From all the antibiotics, especially taking different forms of penicillin, I ended up becoming allergic to penicillin. It's actually a thing. So that's why I kept getting worse and never better. It's something to think about/look into. I really hope you feel better soon!

Finally! Someone who's not afraid to speak the truth (besides a couple of other people). I saw one review who completely ignored the lumps even though she zoomed in and 4 of her lipsticks had the same issue. She had bought all 20. I don't think lying or misleading your subscribers is ever a good idea. I think some people treat us as though we are dumb. This is why I stick to those who are honest. Thank you for not doing that.

Two different types of waxes at 2 different types of melting points. The mango wax melts at 84 degrees and the cannula wax melts at 110. So when it is in the box truck it gets into the high temperature and the cannula wax beads up. *science* Learning curve is *they should have had No High Heat stickers for the summer*

I thought it was that too but she said it didn’t melt in her hands. I made cosmetics with mango wax and cannula wax and they definitely melt if you rub them in your hands 🤔 my guess is it might be pieces of plastic... maybe on of the colours had some issue with the machine and it had plastic mixed into the colour? Or the wax? It’s just a guess but that’s what it looks like to me.

As an animal person who’s owned rodents, the hair/fibers coming out of the lipsticks I’ve seen are waaaaaay too thin to be from a rodent. It actually reminds me of mold because most of the super thin “hairs” appear to be growing up and out of the lipstick as if searching for light/oxygen.

Those are exactly the two I ordered! Perfectionist is my perfect My Lips But Better shade... but everything thats come up about them has me hesitant. Mine seem fine, but the fact that your clear bits aren't melting at all make me reallyyyy concerned that its a contaminant, and not just a solidified butter/oil 🤢 FEEL BETTER!

Those little hunks could be silica, which they use for slip and shine in cosmetics. As you said, it probably wasn't finely milled, but it wasn't combined well with the other ingredients either.
