Interesting video. I'm not the target market for this video, since I have no interest in being a digital nomad. However, as always you cover the pros and cons of each local from your point of view. This is great for a traveller, and then you layer the digital nomad information on top of the general information.

Would also recommend getting your place on a quiet side street off the main road, but right on because there are a few places that do live music on there but if you’re off the road at least 300m, you can’t really hear it.

Good honest video. Ubud is very crowded, but has everything you need, especially good internet and great restaurants, it is still not cheap compared to most areas of Thailand, we were in Hua Hin Thailand and it is very reasonable, housing is inexpensive because they really overbuilt, lots of empty places in Thailand means lower prices, beautiful beaches too.

I think Canggu wold be a good investment but from your description it does not have the vibe I like. Ubud and Sanur look like more for me. PS. You're right about having an insurance anytime we travel: While filming in Saudi Arabia I had a health issue and if I didn't have a travel insurance I would have paid a huge amount of money to have my body checked at a private clinic in Riyadh

It can be cheaper, but you have to stay in very local areas and those are not always surrounded by the same kinds of amenities that foreigners might expect and internet can be spotty. But yes, on a whole Bali has increased quite a bit in price because of how popular it is.
