Getting my first bike in about two weeks. 2024 ninja 500. I’ve always wanted a 636 but I figured it would be best to learn on a smaller bike then upgrade. Still super excited though

Hell yeah man! Your first bike is always exciting. I think the ninja 500 is a great first choice, you’re definitely getting a good start. 636 will be a great second bike once you get comfortable. Congratulations man stay safe out there

Wassup I uh got a r1 otw next week a 2024 ive done nothing but watch videos and ik its a reckless choice as my first hike but the bike will only do what u make it do right?

Yeah you could say that lol. The R1 is definitely going to be a lot to handle. If you do get it as a first I would recommend putting it in a low power mode to start. My R1 is my 4th bike in 5 years with the last one being the mt09 and the R1 was still a lot to handle and hard to control. It’s doable but gonna make things more difficult for ya to learn. Be careful out there man stay safe. And congratulations on your first bike!

Best sounding motorcycle ever. Too bad they are discontinued. I have a Panigale V4 with Akra high mount exhaust and I’d say the R1 sound is more beautiful. V4 sounds more aggressive, but the R1 sound is absolutely beautiful. If it weren’t for my gf who wanted a Ducati and despises Yamaha, I would’ve for sure got the R1.
