I've got 3 PRS, and I think they're all amazing, even the SE. But there might be something to Lee's statement that it's an amazing, beautiful, precision instrument, but it doesn't have that same personality as maybe the Les Paul or the Strat, or the 335 and Tele even. When you do everything well, maybe you don't create that same feeling of connection. Like with a person, the character is in the flaws, and when there just aren't any flaws, you are left with that kind of robotic feeling.

Over the years of my bedroom career, I have decided the best guitar to play whilst laying on ya bed watching telly, in my opinion, is a Strat. Tele’s have no body sculpting and lay flat causing wristification after a time. Les Paul’s body weight isn’t as balanced and with no sculpting, it tends to slide off to the right. Prs soapbar 2 sits well and the wrists feel good but the angle headstock can interfere with my ashtray and same goes for Dean Baby XL which suffers from heavy right armness tipping the guitar, elevating the neck, thus resulting left arm reach effort of 6 to the power of 420. Acoustics....naa.

Mark Agnesi had the best comment on relic guitars. He said " People complain that when you pay for a relic guitar, people say "you didn't earn those wear marks." Well isn't it the same if you buy a vintage guitar? You didn't earn those marks. You just had enough money to pay for them. Whatever makes the guitar more comfortable and whatever you like"........ If you have six guitars and one video, which one are you going to pitch? Will it be the guitar that is already selling well or the guitar that isn't. Since both Gibson and Fender are financially hurting, I'm guessing it's because people aren't buying their products.

Rob: the truss rod being at the bottom leaves mass under the nut and can aid in sustain and thicken the tone. It's subtle but it makes a difference. I notice in fender basses a lot.

Wow, the Telecaster crushed everything else. I’m a bit surprised.

Well, it was based on Pete's purple tele, which if I remember correctly, everyone in the studio thought was one of if not the best tele they played.

The blue sparkly 335 is the winner hands down. I think it had the best sound, meaty growling in your face sound!!

For a guitar to be truly great it has to have character. The 59 Strat and 61 335 have an abundance of character. Truly truly iconic guitars. The definition of Iconic.

59 Les Paul is by far the most iconic guitar, but then again you'd need to mortgage your home and everything you own to get one

Even though Chappers seems to love the Tele, I think the reactions on both of the guys' faces to that LP suggests the real winner. None of the others got the same kind of smiles and playing out of them. That Les Paul is gorgeous.

Lets go Telecaster shopping is what i like to hear. I would take that Tele, then the Les Paul, then the Strat, then the hollow Gibson, then the PRS, and Ibanez. What a great collection you came up with.

I bought a new guitar two weeks ago. I ve tried so many guitars. Les paul from 4000$ to strats 2000$ 3000$ but I didnt find any one that felt good enough! But then I found it. It was the 2018 Ibanez AZ prestige 2402 Tri fade burst 2500$. Amazing playability, great sound. You can play any style you want! Im lovin it!
