I cannot agree more about Lake Martin! Went out last week and caught over 150+ bass! The spots are starting to school up and it was just stupid. But, our 5 fish limit only went a little over 11 lbs 😂

Great video. I live here in south central Florida. we have some great bass lakes. I am talking about 10 plus pounders. Some are too small to atract big tournament anglers. The wind is a factor here. You have to pay close attention to the wind. Oh well, I live here and love it. My Ranger is in the garage and ready to go. Talk to you later. Wish you the best my friend.

The best time to fish Clear Lake is now. The Hitch boomed this year. I give it 3 years or less and the DD count is going to sky rocket.

Adrian has never lied on Douglas .I live here it's terrible and I have won a lot of tourneys on Douglas but when it off it's off. Adrian had me rolling all the tva lakes can suck at times

I’m from S Florida and I agree with Lake Okeechobee. You need the stars to line up for it to go off and when it’s off it blows but catch it at the right time and you can catch 30lb bags.

Your comments on lake Martin is spot on. I live in Columbus and fish Martin often. I’ve had those hundred fish days and the spots will keep you busy. Largemouth for me are far and few between with my biggest there being a little over 6lbs. I put in near Dadeville at Dare Park. Jordan and Wedowee I get there a couple times a year.

In mississippi I catch aaaaaalot of 8-10pounders on grenada lake and in the spillway in the spring. Catch a decent amount of 3-4 pound spots and smallmouth on pickwick/baysprings

MDJ, I lived in Southern California from 1969 to 1994 25 years. For big bass ten pounds and more there are several lakes. Castaic lake, casitas lake, Hodges lake in San Diego and many more. When I was running the team tournament division for Western Bass a guy caught a 16 3/4 pound bass at Isabella lake. You can’t beat the Delta or clear lake for a great bass fishing trip. 🎣🦆❤

There’s a small lake in Ish Monroe’s hometown I fish, it took me 2 months to catch a bass under 2 pounds. I’ve caught a 9.4, 7.9,7.7,7.5,7.1 and countless in the 6-4 range including a 6.1 smallmouth. San Joaquin River in Fresno has a 19 caught out of it.

If you’re going to the Big O in February, plan to stay for a week or more in hopes of getting the weather right. Agree with Rayburn and Fork too. Pressure makes those tough. Throw Guntersville in too as a lake that can be tough.

AZ has a few lakes w giants in em! Saguaro and Canyon Lake consistently puts out DD bass. The state record was caught in Canyon Lake 16.5lbs. A lot of those lakes mentioned are bucket list lakes for me. Great content homie!!

Lake Erie is one of the best Smallmouth Bass fisheries in the world too, I live in Ohio and the state record Smallmouth is 9 and half pounds.

I think Wheelers' fishing style would work magically with Clear Lake. (And I was typing this out before he even mentioned it, lol) Watching Steve Kennedys' performance there in 07 is what turned bass fishing from interest to an obsession. But ya Ca has a 10+ in literally any lake over 5acres lol. But world records could be in shasta, whiskeytown, bullards, CL, Delta, any lake south of LA lol.

I'm going to give one for mark to play with before Toledo. caddo lake! you can exit off i20 and be on the water in 15 minutes either out of tuckers camp or south shore out of buzzard bay. she's natural, hairy as all get out, trees, grasses, pads, sloughs, river channel and pumps out bigs 16.17 is current record.

MDJ being as your on this topic I have something for you & the guys to comment on. I remember back some years ago watching Cody Meyer catching without a doubt some of the largest spotted bass I've ever seen and he was fishing in a western lake maybe in California. Do you or the boys have a comment about this? I live in Alexander City and fished Lake Martin growing up. My PB spot came from there weighing 5lbs 8oz. I guess thats good for back in the day. I agree with you with on Caney. But not with Bussey. I live 15 minutes from Bussey and can't catch any for some reason. It's not my kind of fishing. In my opinion, it is over fished. There is always 40-50 trucks at the ramp. Caney it's the complete opposite, I can catch um all the time. It's just I'm more a dock fishin and offshore kind of guy.

I 100% agree with okeechobee it’s one of the over rated and worst lake in the country people say well there were 20 bags over 30 but what they don’t tell you or know is that they were all caught in area about as big as 10 football feilds and the vary next weekend out of 100 boats only took 18 lbs to win the lake sucks because of 3 reasons spraying is number 1,2 is a shallow water because in the summer when it boiling hot the fish have no where to go and they die and 3 over fishing there is a tournament on this lake every weekend no matter big or small and we all know that fish die when in live wells

Most overrated lake i fish in my area is Smith Lake ! Yes it has some good ones but its so day to day and depending on water level.

every one likes Table Rock but it is so overrated and it is one that I love to fish and it is one of the only places in the country depending on the year that all three speices of bass can contend on helping out get a win or a check but it can be so grindy and it gets hit so hard during the spawn and with crazy water fluctuations that it is loosing its potential for being a world class lake abut a lake that is sleepy lake is Norfork Lake east of Mountain Home Arkansas is getting sneakaly good and is often over looked
