@@PopeUrbanII-ws7rm No. You’ve described theological (rather than moral) presumption, against theological hope. You’re referring to the sin(s) against the Holy Ghost - according to their nature, just as some diseases are incurable according to their nature precisely because they remove or resist those things that could lead to betterment. For instance, if one despairs, presumes, resists the truth, or shuts the remedy that would have been given by repentance (ie, despair, loss of faith) which is necessary for pardon which itself is a necessity of means for salvation. But, as another poster says, pride itself is like central to a persons fall. St. Thomas had stated that Pride is the Beginning of every sin, Covetousness is the Root of all sin, and Self-love is the source of every sin.

It's PRIDE because it lies at the very root of all the other sins - if you eliminate that one, you eliminate them all... Of course, if you're prideful, you wouldn't know that. And therein lies the problem: pride is so much a part of the psychological makeup of Modern man that we don't even realize it!

In my opinion, the worst sins are sins that are committed against the truly vulnerable and innocent like children. Or neglecting to help someone who is genuinely desperate. It seems so nasty. Resentment and bitterness are common ugly everyday sins along with envying others. Bullying others who cannot fight back is terrible too

Sin of presumption is very risky and rather arrogant. Running away from the Truth is a pretty bad sin too. To be fair, repenting is scary and difficult. Thinking of what it is you may lose, trusting that God's way is right, and admitting your weaknesses and evil tendencies. Yes, we are all sinners but some sins are worst than others

Please don’t feel distressed. Check out the Catechism of the Catholic Church or, if you are interested, there is an entry even on Wikipedia about this, under “Eternal sin.” One thing is certain: blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is an unpardonable sin (Jesus Himself said so, I don’t remember exactly where). Not everyone is able to study theology, this video baffles me too🥺. Take care and God bless❣️🙏🏻🕊️

These are my thoughts on the gravest ( unforgivable) sin. Murder. Yes that's bad real bad, but you can ask forgiveness and lead a life for God. Next: Suicide. Can that be forgiven? Lets say you are holding a pistol next to your temple and you say "Lord forgive me" then you pull the trigger killing yourself. Then you can't turn yourself around and live a life for God. Only God can answer that. Break all 10 commandments Is that the gravest? I think not because you can still turn your life around ask for forgiveness and lead a life for God. Next is denying God. That is real bad but not the gravest or unforgivable sin. Peter proved that when he denied Jesus 3 times. He asked for forgiveness and was granted it and lead a life preaching the word of God. Money? Is that unforgiven? Depends on the person. We all work for money, but as long as you don't make it your God you are ok. Example, The rich man came to Jesus and asked him how he could get into Heaven. Jesus told him to give up his money and belongings and follow him. The rich man walked away saddened. Jesus turned to his disciples and told them " It is easier for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the gates of heaven" . Money is a sin if you love it more than God but not the gravest sin. The Gravest sin is Not believing in God but worshiping Satan. If you worship Satan Partying, Doing Drugs, commiting adultry, murdering, denying God and following Satan your are guaranteed a place in hell with Satan. Live your life for God every day. Tell people about him even if you are joked about and made fun of. If that saves at least one person a day or week you have done good and Jesus will set a place aside in Heaven for you. God loves you so live a life worthy of him. God Bless each and every one of you.
