Hi cc I don't know if this question is wise or but I'm curious how do lawyers get paid,as in like they get paid monthly or it depends if they have clients especially those who run private practices

Hi sis. It depends on the firm you work in and position you hold, most firms pay salaries or stipends to candidate attorneys and most associates get salaries and have fee books which they serve as commissions books. If you run on your own account I’d recon you decide how to pay yourself
