Congratulations for this video, it was very clearly about the Series 7 exam. But do you prepare for SIE too? is there any other video talking about that? and is there any "package" of preparing for both certifications? Im from Brazil. What is the recommended study time for the S7 (3:45 hrs exam) vs. the S65 (3 hr exam) exams ? tyvm !!!

Very similar study time for 65 versus 7. Of course, every student absorbs the information at a different speed. Our course includes a 4 week study plan for Series 7, just like we have for 65. Series 7 is 125 questions, but more time to take the exam, and Series 7 has less of the wordy law questions that 65 includes. How long it will take a student will also depend upon what other exams they have taken and how long ago. I would say 50-80 hours of study total for Series 7. 2.5-4 hours a day (with one day off) 😀

Hello! Thanks for watching. There is no difference from state to state in registration for the securities courses, since they are federal exams. The series 7 course is $249 for 120 days of access, and then you can renew for another 120 days for $89. Hope to have you as a student soon.

The Series 7 is a top-off exam that does require a sponsor broker-dealer firm. You can take the SIE exam without a sponsor. Thank you so much for watching.

I have helped lots of students that are not native english speakers. Be sure when you register for the test you request extending testing time. Do you already have your SIE Naveen?

@@Naveen0037 That will be very helpful! The 7 has a co-requisite of the SIE. 66's co-requisite is series 7. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of that.

You need a sponsor to register for the Series 7. You can take SIE, 65, and 63 without a sponsor. The 6 and 7 require you to have a broker/dealer to sponsor you.
