Rajat i know people think older people don't get bitcoin however my wife and i are in our early 70s and have been in bitcoin for 8 years I'm not sure its age that keeps people from getting it. I think it might be people just arent orange pilled at the same time or level. Michael S says people get it at the time they deserve it. I believe this is the way it works with most investments. Big changes are harder to get than small changes.

Yeah I mean I've been there, The problem is that most people view bitcoin from a trader's point of view where they have a primary target in fiat. But if you think in 1st principle, why would i sell my bitcoin for a thing (fiat) that is losing 20-30 % of its value over time? doesn't make any sense at all.

@rajatsonifinance8 күн бұрын
I recommend sticking to mstr unless you have a lot of experience investing. MSTU is leveraged.
@2001dasboot7 күн бұрын
I think it would be more clear if you used 2 different words rather than just “money” to describe medium of exchange and store of value. For example you could call fiat “currency” and bitcoin “capital”. Store of value is a far more important use than functional fiat we use for transactions.
@rajatsonifinance7 күн бұрын
A lot of people use fiat as savings, though. It's not just being used as a currency today.

I think micro strategies NAV as it stands today will be in the trillions in a couple of decades let alone if they get 1 million bitcoin. This is the kind of company that you buy now and you could see it 100 X or 200 X over the course of your life even at today’s elevated prices. Not to mention if they go back to 1 NAV or below during the bear market. I’ll literally can’t stop thinking about micro strategy all day long, this is like the asymmetric bet of all asymmetric bets.
@rajatsonifinance9 күн бұрын
Same here. I agree with you.
@samye55379 күн бұрын
5:03 no buddy, you don't understand how financial instruments work. Why would Microstrategy offer convertible bonds instead of just standard bonds with some sort of coupon rate? If Microstrategy really believes btc will soon be the world's default currency and they will be the world's central bank and generate absurd turnovers, why would they create a scenario where there is a chance of their equity holders have their assets diluted because bond holders decides to convert? Why would Microstrategy avoid just paying interest on debt by just issuing normal bonds, it's not like they will have a cash flow problem in the future if they truly believe they're in control of the future of currency. Saylor's words and stories of what he believes in aren't matching up with his actions and decisions.
@rajatsonifinance9 күн бұрын
Because the convertibles have a much lower interest rate and carrying cost
@samye55378 күн бұрын
@rajatsonifinance lol yeah that's exactly what I said. Did you bother to read my comment or do you not understand? Why compromise by diluting shareholders' value to just reduce operating expense if he believes the story he's peddling?
@DANS-tj3df8 күн бұрын
@@rajatsonifinance MicroStrategy's issuance of convertible bonds reflects a strategic bet on Bitcoin's future appreciation, as it allows the company to secure capital at lower interest rates while giving bondholders the option to convert into equity if Bitcoin's value surges. This aligns with their bullish stance on Bitcoin, but also hedges against over-leveraging by reducing immediate cash flow pressures. The potential dilution risk may be viewed as acceptable if Bitcoin's growth outpaces the impact on equity.

Hey Rajat, what do you think about the quantum computing that could break Bitcoin's encryption? I just saw a video of Chamath who predicts a 2-5 year window before quantum computing becomes advanced enough to potentially break Bitcoin’s encryption. If that happen, maybe it could bring Bitcoin value down. I hope people are working to enhance the bitcoin security protocol. I am still learning about Bitcoin, and I am not very advanced when it comes to the security of the protocol, so maybe I am worrying for nothing

Earlier this year, Palihapitiya raised his near-term outlook to $500,000 by 2025 and reiterated his belief that it could eventually reach $1 million per coin. He believes two main catalysts will drive that rally: Bitcoin's halving this April, which reduced the rewards for mining by half, and the increased adoption of Bitcoin as a reserve asset. I googled if he owns it and this is what I found. I could sleep better at night, knowing that he owns it.

I hear you, again and I have to ask you this, Why is it better to buy mstr and get into all this shit than to invest the same money from this direct in btc? I asked again in another video and you answer me "watch the video". My question is pretty simple. The answer to me is just don't bother helping the system and the guy who likes to be in the middle of bitcoin and just buys as much btc as he can so he can monopolize . This is like a different kind of investment. If you want to buy stocks and not nvidia maybe someone will decide on mstr. However, there is no point. Any added value from mstr can still affect btc, so you are making money without mstr if you just have btc. I don't like investing in mstr or anywhere in this shitty system bro.
