This is one of the best pieces of advice on pricing I've seen in a while. Only you know your worth, and as you say Joel what anyone else charges is irrelevant

Glad you rate it mate, it’s only money needs talking about

well said, this is exactly how i quote , i can tell by most customers messages if they want quality or if they are the classic “it just wants a quick skim” customers

Great video mate. Straight down the line no bullshit I rate that 💯🎯 learnt a bit too with asking the customer what sort of budget they have in mind its not even a confidence thing I just never thought like that. Learn something new everyday I love it. All the best mate roll on Edinburgh 👌

Great info especially asking for their budget! If we were all open to pricing would that encourage other plasterers to aim high an get the majority out of the rat race pricing to the bottom. I don’t mind the guy next to me earning the same, I see the short game plans but what about long term an everyone pushing to build up the plastering game to a high priced trade. Plastering & roughcasting is so undervalued for the physical a skills required to do a mint job.

Some spreads buy their work so if you charge decent rates you’ll often not get those jobs against those cheaper prices, never buy your work and never change your quotes. He’s right never chase the crap, personally I never render anymore just don’t want it.

Top advice Joel! Love to link up one day and do a spray with you or come on one of mine (I’ll show you how it should be done)😂👊

I don't understand why plasterers seek approval from other plasterers on how much they are worth
@leedavis7663 Жыл бұрын
I don’t mind people asking because a lot of guys are not charging enough and don’t know.
@kevm2951 Жыл бұрын
@lee davis the point being, charge what you want to earn, it's irrelevant what anyone else charges, if you're happy making £250 a day, charge that, if you want £300 a day charge that etc etc, never let another spread dictate your prices 😉
@eliotcurtis3551 Жыл бұрын
Couldn’t of said it better my self. Loose the fear and know your worth. Very good content Joel keep it up 🙏🏻

@@kevm2951 wished it were £250-£300 a day. Just been quoted a kitchen one days work for £650
@cabottaxi Жыл бұрын
@@leedavis7663 Some are also charging too much. In my city ( Up North) the going rate is between £500-£800 a day. Quoted for two 3m x 3m rooms £1850. Been told it will take 2 days.
