That is really interesting on the water pump and how you put the seal on. The belt tensioner tool looks amazing glad you taught us how to make one. Well to get the $60K asking price you will have to drop in a Lambo engine. Then it would not be called the Blue Bomber but the Blue Demon. 😂😂

We are always looking for ways to improve our stuff, maybe a Lambo engine is just what we need! LOL! Thanks for watching and for the great comment, have a great weekend wolverine! mad Mike & team

Thanks for sharing, Mike. I have been using Gates parts for years, and I'm super stoked. On my old BMW e36, I used Dolz water pumps. They lasted longer than the BMW ones. That's crazy. Have a great weekend, Regards Nico.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, Hey 👋 Mike the Hammer!!! On my 2000 F-350 7.3, back in 2003 my OEM water pump went out just as I got home from work. As I pulled into my driveway antifreeze went everywhere under my truck, lucky, I bought the Gates aftermarket water pump, it's still going strong here in 2024, almost 2025. Coming up on 21 years with the Gates pump in my diesel💪"it's toooough!!!"😂 My last alignment on my truck was $150 so, ima bring'n my ride down to Hoolio Rodriguez Sanchez Philipé Martinez Biden for my next alignment🤠 Ha a mostest Awesomeness Blessed day and weekend my friend!!! ~Jay~

Great video! I never thought to smear the silicone on the gasket once you seal it to the pump. I have done a few of these as well with the o-ring gasket but have never done that. Will do now that I have seen it!

Do you do that trick with the gasket maker for other gaskets?

I like how you take a project car like the blue bomber and previously boomzilla and show your restoration. Good stuff my man! And forgive me, but Chrysler products just suck. IMO of course.

Thanks for sharing the difference in water pumps. I just had my radiator and serpentine belt at a local garage. 2004 KIA Sorento, I paid the shop $1020 to do the work. How does this price sound, it was not a rush job.
@SweetProjectCars20 күн бұрын
That price sounds outrageous, Roy! Sorry buddy. We really appreciate the view and comment, hope you have a great weekend. mad Mike & team

Love ur videos. I have a 2002 pontiac trans am and I have to change the original 02 sensor. Looks pretty rusted in there. Hit me, guru, what cha got to solve the potential problem

First, you need to soak it down for a good couple days with this tinyurl.com/bdf6a6ky then if you want to make sure you don't have any issues, get yourself one of these amzn.to/3BieWVQ Now, I know it's not cheap, but if you snap that oxygen sensor off it's going to cost you way more than the kit, or find someone you can borrow one from. Thank you so much for watching and asking, hope you have a fantastic weekend and all the best on your project my friend. mad Mike & team

Cut off the wire and use a deep socket or 6 point wrench and extension or long breaker bar, use oxy-acetylene torch to heat the exhaust pipe around the sensor.

I don’t like Gate’s no more the don’t have good quality no more. They don’t manufacture no more in USA. But this is my opinion
@SweetProjectCars21 күн бұрын
I don’t know what you are talking about my friend, you can see the quality difference between the two pumps, and as far as being made in the US, I don’t think there’s a car part that’s made in the US anymore that’s why we need a president that will bring manufacturing back to the USA! Thanks, have a great day. mad Mike

@ I am not arguing with you. Just my opinion. I don’t care you like it or not.
