I would love to see a video on negotiating payer contracts. I built in an area where there is significant access to manual physical therapists. I hesitate to negotiate a higher fee schedule in light of this fact. Thanks

Yes, I will add payer contract negotiation to the list. Size, reach and patient outcome results are major considerations to even to get them to consider opening a conversation. Unfortunately, in some areas, some payers will not allow for PTs to negotiate contracts. But always worth a shot if you can gather the data.

Do you think revenue cycle jobs will soon become automated? & actual people won’t be needed to get the job done?
@InleraU3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment :)) That is a great question!! I truly love technology and I want the best move efficent healthcare system that will at the end of the day allow providers to heal more more patients.I do believe automation has the potential to do that so I am definently in support of increased automation. Unfortunately, due the complexity and variabliity of the insurance, I believe we are decades away from things being fully automated.
