Me too! I love the visibility on this machine. The Janome 8200 on my frame was nice, space-wise - but killed my neck with the bulky top around the needle. I had to crane my neck over sideways to get a view of the needle around the bulky top. The Little Rebel is going to have gorgeous visibility whether it's set up like a sewing machine in a table or on a frame.

I've heard it stitching and it's quieter than I expected. It's going to have some machine noise, but it's definitely quieter than my longarm machines.

I find this frustrating, as a few years ago I bought a Q'nique 15 Pro, that I can't slow down & a Juki Haruka that I love for sewing. Wish I could sell the Q'nique & hoop frame now!

I’m not sure what you mean when you say “can’t slow down.” To slow down the stitching in either stitch regulated modes (cruise or precise) simply move the machine slower. It’s regulated so the needle will match your movement speed. If you are using Manual Mode, dial the % speed available down to 25-30. If you mean the machines movement on the frame, stitch a frame weight to add weight from the top to press on your machine to gain more control. Will a foot for sewing leather be included?

No, from the information I have, a patchwork foot, walking foot and two darning feet - a standard quilting foot and a side facing open toe will be included.

Yes! A foot pedal is included with a 7 foot long cord.

Why is the machine so loud?

It is a high speed machine, which generally results in more sound. The high speed Juki / Janome / Brother machines are also quite loud if run at full speed.
