The first story kinda pisses me off like no way I’d let my sister out of my sight after being missing, even if it’s her choice, an explanation is still needed.

@@materhead5051 Because her family cares and it’s kinda fucked up? If she’s hiding from her family because they actually deserve it/are abusive, that’s one thing, but if not, that’s pretty messed up. An explanation would be nice. Thats like saying it’s okay for someone to cheat because people can do whatever they want. Keep that energy if the person you care about most in your life just disappears and you never hear from the again the rest of your life. They could have been kidnapped, died in a car accident, or they just decided to ghost everyone with no explanation. You don’t know. Which is the worst part. As I said, if someone disappears from your life in an unusual manner with no notice whether it’s a sibling, parent, lifelong friend, etc. please assume they just decided to start their life over and get over it regardless of how suspicious or out of place it would be.

In my family, my uncle wasn't particularly popular. He did things like steal my step dads identity to try to get out of a DUI charge. Where my stepdad only found out when that uncle's adult daughter told him about what had happened right before his trial that he also didn't know about. He also did things like trying to make their mothers funeral about himself. One day, he was murdered. (No it wasn't one of us, it was his neighbor in a dispute) but it was a mystery at first. (Like blood everywhere but no body, bullet holes from outside. And no one talked about it. (Like I think I was the only one who walked our river to see if his body was dumped and might have caught on something) But you could feel the tension. Before the neighbor's alibi fell apart with the police, everyone was suspicious of eachother, but both had just not cared, because it was that guy, and wouldn't dare accuse a family member. His body was never found. The neighbor had ended up taking it up to a nature reserve a state over. He couldn't remember where he barried him, but somewhere out there there's a cross in the middle of nowhere. That just goes to show you. In cities, people get murdered, in rural areas, people disappear.

Yep. I'm from rural NC, and have lived several areas across the south. As my mother once said when i was a child, and she traveled for work a lot, "There are places in West Virginia God's forgotten about." I replied back to her as an adult after i had traveled for work as well, "Yeah, and there's places in Louisiana he can't get to."😂

Unless I'm missing something, how can someone have sex with you while you're sleeping and you don't feel it, wake up, or "see the evidence" the next day? The only way I can see that being a thing is if the person was drugged or something.

At 5, I found out my cousin was NOT my Uncle's child. My Grandma said not to tell her & treat her like Family. (He met my Aunt when she was very pregnant.) So life goes on & when I was 50, she tells me her her Family are liars & screwed up her life. OMG!! What's happened? I asked...... she tells me about her dad wasn't her real dad....... Ohhhh, I already knew that. I found out at 5 years old, 😂 She hung up & I never heard from her again....... That's ok, she's a stuck up BRAT😂

Story 22 is from an audio book I listened to a few years ago, but I forget the title. The plot was some billionaire invited a bunch of people for a social experiment for which they would get paid handsomely if they won some contest. In short, it’s a work of fiction and pretty amusing that it made its way to a reddit thread

You know those family to where almost all of your uncles are the age of what most great uncles are, and are younger than your second cousins? I have one of my uncles like that at a my great grandpa's funeral reveal to the rest of the entirety of the flails he was adopted in to the family via being one in a poker game. I guess ancestors of mine were infertile and had a man who played poker with the husband owe them a lot of money, so in place of the money, the struggling family eventually decided to give their baby to my family.
