@@romeomartinez5317 Wishy washy in defending the 2nd amendment. Many, including myself, see any concession on the 2nd as a slippery slope. For example, their weak position on bump stocks opens the door for banning of other firearm accessories. I look at it as similar to death by 1000 cuts or an (American) football game. The gun grabbers are constantly increasing the restrictions on firearms, and they never give up any ground or regulation once gained. The GOA understands this, but apparently the NRA just doesn't get it. You don't defend something by constantly giving up "just a little bit" to appease your enemy.

This reminds me a lot of how my coaches ran track practice back in the day. I mean it worked though. If we were running 5x200m for our first workout, the goal was not to run the first one as fast as possible, jog the 2nd, stride the 3rd, then sprint until puke on the 4th. It was to go for something sustainable like an 80%-90% effort sprint, basically just at the edge of what was attainable for each runner over the course of the workout. For one guy that might be running 5x 35 second splits. For another that might be running 5x30 second splits or maybe even another rep or 2. The guy who runs at 35 seconds could totally push himself to run 30 second splits... for maybe 2 reps... then he'd throw the rest of his workout which does no favors in the long run.
