I love creating many smooth random LFOs with different speeds and amplitudes. I then apply them to different synth or effects parameters. Can make things really unstable and/or vintage sounding in a cool way.

Love that! You just gave me some ideas for patcher! I might try and make a lofi preset 💪 sounds like a lot of fun!

I know RC 20 uses LFOs like that to create some of those vintage FX. Movement in general always brings that excitement though

great explanation, it's just what I was looking for to understand this plugin. I've been using FL for years but always used Fruity Limiter instead of Fruity Peak Controller for sidechaining, and figured I should expand my knowledge...
@ScaleAudio
@ScaleAudio Жыл бұрын
The fruity limiter is definitely an option! The ability to link the peak controller to anything is extra cool in my opnion. As for sidechaining, if you can afford it, I reccommend waves F6 all day. Nowadays, it's all I use for most sidechaining purposes.

It was always my go to until I got the waves F6. And even then I still use it for creative effects. It’s definitely a powerhouse plug-in a lot of people don’t use. Ps. Thanks for the comment 💪

Hey man I've been looking for a good tutorial on this .. but something that has stumped me is using peak controller inside of patcher using the lfo to control fruity love philter cutoff .. can you explain to me how I could do that?
@ScaleAudio
@ScaleAudio 6 ай бұрын
I honestly haven't really used the fruity love filter, however, I would imagine that linking it would be similar to other plugins. Did you find a solution to what you were experiencing? If so, let me know! It could help others with the same question!

But when I do this, I'm getting click sounds at notes which are present at the exact same time as the kick, how do i stop that?
@ScaleAudio
@ScaleAudio 2 ай бұрын
@@RawMangoYT slower attack. Clicking noises during the attack or reduction of a sound are generally indicators of extremely quick and abrupt changes in amplitude.

@@ScaleAudio ahh i see thanks. But there is no attack parameter in the peak controller right?
@ScaleAudio
@ScaleAudio Ай бұрын
@@RawMangoYT You can change the tension which can help, but the best bet is to change the attack on the kick itself. If you don't want to affect the attack of the audible kick, you can do a second track that you can mute and use purely for the peak controller sidechaining process.

I'm using this for Zgame automation, I don't like how the alpha channel flickers a ton. This is happening because the waveforms are really spikey and it's not good for my eyes. Is there a way to solve this?

Hello, can I make a Parallel compressor in FL Studio?
@ScaleAudio
@ScaleAudio 2 жыл бұрын
You definitely can. To create a parallel compressor just run your signal to a second mixer track (an auxiliary track). This should have you running two of the same signal (which is why it’s considered parallel). Then just throw a compressor on one of the tracks which causes it to become parallel compression. You can then slowly introduce the new compressed signal back into the mix until it sounds how you like. You can then watch a few videos on compressor settings to get deeper insight regarding how to actually set the compressor. Generally though you’ll do a quick attack and use the compressor to thicken up your sound.

late reply but maybe this will help. ScaleAudio's response is correct, but there is also a simpler way. If you use Fruity Compressor, you should be able to just lower the mix knob for the whole plugin on the mixer track, in order to blend the compressed signal with the original. It used to be that this would cause a phasing effect, but it seems like it was fixed in a prior update. At least, it works in my setup. If you are using Maximus, you can use the LMH Mix knob in the plugin to do the same thing.

Hey my brotha got a qustestion lol ... i know im always wit the questions sry but whats the diffrents between stock plugins and third party plugins for vocal pls and thank u
@ScaleAudio
@ScaleAudio 2 жыл бұрын
No worries. Here to help 🤙. Really all plugins are going to be different whether stock, or third party. 3rd party just means it didn’t come with FL Studio but from a 3rd company or individual. Whether 3rd party or stock a lot of plugins will do the same things but with different algorithms and features. 3rd party plugins which are from other providers can be very helpful, however if you learn your toolset, you’ll find your stock plugins can do everything most 3rd party plugins can do. If you’re ballin on a budget you can also look for patcher presets to imitate things like vocal rider and other specialty plugins.
