Personally 47minutes is the sweet spot for me... not a minute over. Melt in your mouth texture.🤤

I didn't expect this video to give me so much anxiety. But knowing that the timer was going off every minute while he was still talking, combined with the fact that I'm generally a terrible multi-tasker in the kitchen, it made me really tense.

When I was a kid I discovered that dry spaghetti bent in half almost always breaks into three pieces with the middle part flying everywhere. I also learned that while my mother appreciated the science of it I still had to clean it up. Ditto with the 'spaghetti is cooked when it sticks when flung against the cabinets'. My poor parents.

You can soak pasta in cold water for about 20 minutes, then just cook it for a minute and add the sauce for a nice al dente bite.

I would never have gone 45 minutes, even as an experiment. In this context, I probably would have stopped at 15. There seems to be no point in going any further.
