The lack of aggressive regen at the low end is because forward creep is enabled. Regarding range, there is no getting around the physics of this being a 6000lb vehicle. The advertised range is under ideal conditions, consuming about .3 kwh per mile. When the throttle is overcoming drag at highway speeds, you're likely using about double that. That said, the torque is good. I have the towing package and was able to drive on full electric no problem towing a 6x12 fully loaded getting to the expy.

To get the last bit of Charge= 100% Sit in a parking lot or Driveway with heat & A/C OFF for about 20 Mins & you should get to Full. "FYI: But that will negate Any/All gas savings " I have an XC60 ER & my real world Pure mode= 41 - 42 with A/C On. Had 4 months now & Only put in a few Gallons, keeping Tank around Half. Dealer Tech said unless on Trip, Don't keep your Gas tank on Full. Keep it at Half, (Keeps Gas Fresh & Don't need to carry extra weight.) I'm Fortunate to also be able to Plug in @ Office free. So I charge at work most the time. Love it, Love the Handling, Did have to Take it back for a Part Replacement. As this Car Fits My needs. I feel I have the best of both worlds, EV when I want it (as most of the time) with No Range anxiety. 🔌

How fast is the car on EV mode?

@@JohnSmith9382 With my new 2022-Late E.R., Max speed on Pure EV While still Staying on EV is 87 MPH. Once you hit 88 Mph your Engine Kicks on too. ... Funny thing Somebody told me that 88 mph was the time travel speed from a Movie " Back to the Future " 🚗 ... ( My Previous 2020 T8 Pure EV max speed was only 77 )

Also, B mode enables engine break = the slow feeling you have. In D you wouldn’t feel that.

to charge the battery with the gasoline engine you must also select Hold to avoid spending energy in hybrid mode

Once they get the EV range to 100+ on this vehicle I will be all in! This would allow you to do your everyday driving in town and then have the engine backup for those getaway weekends where you don’t have to rely on the garbage infrastructure that exists today.

Do you know what your mpg is with the hybrid only (after the plug in battery runs out)?

He should have plugged it in at home and done it properly starting with a 100% battery. If your going to make this vid at all. Using massage seats and starting with 25 range is meaningless. Also remember when going onto gas because the batteries are down to zero fuel consumption is very high because of the weight of th4e batteries.

What is passing power? I mean you are not suppose to race when you are passing.... If you are talking of what is more fun or if you are in a hurry then thats another question.

In your other channel video with the Extended Range version you say you did a range test on this channel. But this video with the Recharge (not the extended range) is the only one I can find. Did you do a range test with the Extended Range version? If so, what were the results?

On highway you need to be in B mode.
