I find it strange that no one has talked about Kira's eyes turning from purple to red in the trailers. This could mean a new stage of Seed mode or Kira changing his intention on his unwillingness to kill enemies. Kira seems very frustrated or angry in some shots of the trailer so it's possible that the story is pushing Kira so hard to the point he has to change his point of view to do something about it

Kira being more open to killing his enemies would be interesting to see. Even in SEED DESTINY, Kira was already a former shell of himself after all the bs he endured during SEED. He was tired and shown to be a soldier suffering from PTSD and he was ready to kill those that he deemed too much of a threat(Stella, Shinn(ep.34) and even Durandal). Even in the interviews and character dialogue, it’s implied that Kira is more hardened and is ready to kill those he deems necessarily a threat to the world. I would love to see how SEED FREEDOM tackles this character arc and how Kira, tired from all the battles and sacrifices, can ever be at peace again.

It could be the Destiny Impulse Gundam? Witch if you stitch a Gen 3 Freedom and an Impulse Kai, Gundam together we could see the precursor to Gen 2 Destiny. This might explain why the Impulse is a Kai rather than a true Gen 2 and Gen 3 Freedom is a well thought out balanced between Gen 1 Freedom and Destiny with designers working the Strike Freedom's wing design straight into Gen 3 Freedom wing design.

I think they're not using another Destiny unit anymore. Because it was the symbol of Durandal's legacy. And Lacus won against that. Now, the people would see Destiny as a negative symbol. Shinn will probably get Immortal Justice. And maybe switch to something like a new Impulse (not the new one we know), or something with a totally new name. But I could be wrong.

For me i doubt kira will die from what i know from the series Kira's gundam will always be destroy (Strike got destroyed by Aegis through denotation due to no power but manage to rebuild together with its sister unit (Strike rouge) and gave to mu which was destroyed by Dominion (Sister of Archangel during production) while freedom was destroyed but zaft Nuclear weapon when it got detonated by Justice in seed). Freedom manage to be rebuild in gundam seed destiny due to gundam skeleton still around but was destroyed by Shin (Impulse) and then Strike freedom surprising was not destroy in End of destiny which i suspect it got locked up due to nuclear treaty but then foundation decided to use nuclear weapon (from the ss that shows 3 nuclear missle launched and rising freedom do not have any nuclear power thus cannot use his himat mode properly thus it was shown together with a new archangel (v2.0) that was similar design to Minerva and in that could show the new rising strike freedom (redevelop from strike freedom) due to 2 beam rife hold on either arms

Wouldn't be surprising that its going to be Durandal though, given his background as a geneticist (remember in SEED they can change the hair color etc of the designer baby etc) But given the monologue in Trailer 2 saying "Born because it was wanted, wanted by the world" and given the premise of the movie someone is still continuing the plan of Durandal, theirs definitely a high chance it is Durandal, as for why he is blonde he might have used Talia egg cell as a donor for his clone assuming he didn't edit anything when creating himself. If its third coming back of Rau then he might have instilled his beliefs etc on the third clone to continue his plan etc but its definitely either two of them or both as theirs also high possibility he might have combined his genetics with Rau who knows.

I think its going to be a great movie. Not so sure about gen 4 freedom right now. Also not sure how we know rising Freedom is "weaker" Lots of speculation not enough facts.
