What is the Strangler Heart Power Armor for Fallout 76?

In this video Naked Vault Dweller explains to the viewer where the Strangler Heart power armor originated from a dungeon quest inside of Vault 94. It was later taken down by Bethesda and moved over to Regs in Vault 79 to be purchased by gold bullion. Now Regs and Minerva are the only vendors that sell this unique item. Naked Vault Dweller will show the viewer from start to finish where they need to go to acquire all vault steel and how much is needed to complete a full set of Strangler Heart armor as well as go over the PERK and Special points on the build he uses today.

It adds +50 acid dmg to attacks and 4/s acid dmg to nearby, not 50 to nearby! Regardless thou pretty swag build, I like the armor a lot and it’s really good to push your dmg above and beyond! Definitely stealing this for my own advantage lol

strangler heart pa, maxed out ricochet and eletrical absoption with a vampire flamer makes short work of the silos.

The one thing I noticed is that you’re using Concentrated Fire, but you’re using a Heavy Gun build with a Flamer. Imo, you don’t need that and a better card might be something like Refractor, for more damage resistance.

I’m a bloodied pa build, and ever since I got my t-65 set with the legendary affects I want I just always use t-65. Since I don’t have any of the mods or legendary affects I want on hellcat pa.

looking forward to getting the plans off Minerva in the next few days, hoping to get a paint for it though, not keen on the look as it is..lol.. got a vamps LMG AND 50 CAL so hoping to tank while others stay safe and get XP.. how do you go about making each piece legendary as a bloodied heavy gunner , I assume bolstering would serve me well..

Interesting report on PA. For the calibrated shocks to the Strangler Heart PA, is there a reliable way for someone to find it? And it is assumed that is the same for calibrated shocks to the Ultracite PA.

When i tested dmg to nearby enemy - it doesnt work and i dont think the bonus dmg to atk works😢

it dont say it in game but mobs also take your acid dmg from your bullets and from theres if you have the rick o'shay perk. with some mobs it can make the difference between one shot or 2 shot kills. with some it dose nothing. like super mutants have high acid dmg resistance. thats why i want the tesla coils for ultracite. 2 years and have never found someone selling them lol.

Its a shame the acid damage is so minimal now. End game armor that only works on level 10 ghouls. Lol.

Hi I am waiting for a day or so when Minerva has the plans, definitely getting it, I've started using a pa bloodied build with a vamps weapon, will the poison damage to attackers around me heal me because of my vamps weapon, will it synergise like ricochet does?

I use the armor with red shift skin for an abandoned overgrown communist hold out look. I love using it with rad ledgandary for farming nuke zones dont need rad aways. The poison damage affects enemies in a very close range (like 3ft) those that just melee you but the best one is those who you hit as well with both melee AND ranged.

@@Justanobody8472 is like the solar armors. The vine overgrowth is always present dont need to do anything special. the vines from the strangler power armor sits above the armor skins weather you like it or not.

@@Justanobody8472 ok just made a new strangler heart power armor torso. Sadly the answer is yes an no. My original torso was made well before even the crafted ledgandary re roll mechanics of Steel Rain update so it keeps its vines as it did before patch. But the one I just made 2023 starts out with it but will lose it upon new paint a change I didnt realize till now its "default" paint scheme is now a clean T-51 an a newer Stranger paint is the vine look tried to chose strangler then switch to another but it still removed it on new parts. Short answer yes vines go away with new looks on armor parts made after patch but can revert back to original T-51 overgrowth look via strangler paint option. Hope that helps.

Pepper shaker with signle barrel mod, harpoon gun with flechette, any shotgun... The more projectiles hit the enemy the more acid dmg you apply.

Dang calibrated shocks keep eluding me. I launch at least 3-6 nukes a day in hopes of getting that plan.

Try to buy it from other players, thats at least how i got them for 32k caps and the emergency protocols aswell for like 10k caps i think... The droprate with like ~0.03% is so stupid

That was patched out some time ago. If you painted one pre-patch it would still have vines and paint.
