Smoking is bad. I wish I had not smoked. Now I am attached to a oxygen cord 24/7 and can't walk to the bathroom without help.

My answer to the title question. Going to a special needs school. I have a minor learning disability and when I first went to primary school my social worker at the time suggested I go to a special needs school and it ended up being absolute hell. Whenever I would have any kind of tantrum I would be dragged to a timeout area, punched, kicked screamed at, etc. by the teachers, it got so bad that I had made multiple comments about wanting to take my own life which were usually laughed off and not taken seriously. Thankfully for me my mum got work in another area and as a result I had to be temporarily moved to the local school and the school I went to there was a much more understanding and helpful place for me to be and as a result I went to that school full time and it completely turned my life around. I am pleased to say my first school has now been shut down after its malpractice came to light as well as the fact that none of the staff were trained in working with special needs kids.

Not taking care of my teeth when I was younger / being able to afford to go. Now I'm in my late 20s dealing with pain, just had a root canal and I get to be in agony for the next week while waiting for a crown. TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH!!! you will regret it

Not me but a guy I'm acquainted with through work had been smoking from a VERY early age and developed into a total chain smoker later on. Got told a year ago that his lungs are almost non-existent anymore and he'd be lucky to live long enough to see his oldest daughter graduate. And the worst part is he didn't quit so there's no chance he's making it to graduation. Guy's only in his early 30's too, breaks my heart man.

One of the worst permanent life decisions I've made was trusting a sketchy dentist who drilled too much healthy tooth and caused irreversible damage.

That going to the grocery store thinking you only need to buy one thing is the most relatable story to me here smh every freaking time I go.

Never getting my electricians license. I still did the job in areas where working with a licensed company was enough but I never advanced in the career

I don't understand how customers don't understand that I, person behind counter, am not required to sell to you. I can refuse service. If you're being belligerent I will just not sell to you and kick you from my store, and if you don't leave on your own you will leave with the police.

31:57 omg this with my boyfriend's mom. His dad is super judgey too but for the most part keeps it to himself. Until he doesn't and then it's just a yelling fit about how everyone in the world is an idiot except him. Kinda reminds me of Red from That's 70s Show.

Pro tip - school is not the most important part of life. If you fuck up there are still plenty of opportunities going on. It will be harder but you will not die. That's bs.

Yeah fuck college lmao, no debt for me, living comfortably and financially well, and no job that would give me satisfaction in life requires a college degree. Sorry for those that were continuously lied to and bought it in high school.
