The xenophobia in Denmark is not a big problem. Sure some people are assholes, but it's the same in every western European country. People are feeling threatened by the fact that our treacherous politicians sell out their people to non elected entities and huge corporations, that use us as pawns on a chess board which in turn creates bottled up feelings. I haven't ever met a proper racist according to the dictionary definition. It's much frowned upon to discriminate people because of their heritage or religion. 1 The great battle of this Message has not only consisted in unveiling the serpent, the seduction but also in crowning the work of sanctification, both carnal and spiritual. And we are at an important apostolic element: the public confession. [Kc.1v16] 2 And this sublime doctrine is unavoidable even for very minor sins, that is to say, involuntary or by mistake. For example, if someone asks you for some money and you give it to him without any question and he goes to play lottery, buy cigarettes, buy some alcoholic drink ... or if you murmur or sing a pagan song by mistake... you are guilty. If you associate, even for one second, with a person of these Catholic, Protestant, evangelical and Branhamist churches, including Islam and Judaism or those missions and ministries to pray, you are guilty, just like the one who consults a diviner or fetish priest. If you are somewhere without a Bible and there is a Louis Segond or Scofield or Thompson or King James version, you shall look on that as a trap of Satan. Philippekacou.org/en

I travelled in Denmark back in the 90ies and I have to agree, people are soooo friendly and it's very safe. All together though I really liked Denmark!
@andrewoakeshott7759 Жыл бұрын
I honestly don't think it's this kind of intolerance people generally refer to. No, the *alleged* intolerance of Danes towards outsiders is as I understand it, is usually meant in two ways: 1) a supposed general intolerance towards people of a different ethnicity or nationality and 2) a supposed intolerance towards people that disagree heavily with the Danish social and welfare model or Danish cultural values (for example: the open display of opulence or bragging is greatly shunned in Denmark). Personally, I think these accusations are either untrue (the first claim is a blatant lie as far as I'm concerned) or exaggerated (this is the case for the second), with the supposed evidence taken out of context. But be that as it may, in general Denmark is not an intolerant country in my view, quite the opposite.

I found that the metro train system in Copenhagen was having problems when I was there with many services cancelled or not running on time . Worst facts about Denmark! When you are between 16 and 18 years old,you may drive a moped at 30 km/h. Almost no people can take it and make the scooter drive about 60 Km/h,that makes the state good money. When You are 18 years old,you may drive a scooter with 45 km/h,5 kilometers less then the speed in the city. By doing this most adult wont drive a scooter,they drive a car. Drinking in Denmark is over the edge,even 13 years drink alkohol and get drunk. And there is so many Muslims that you would think you are in the Middle East,you are lucky if you dont get mocked... If you dare smoking weed,it cost 2000 crowns the first time,double up the net time. So you can drink like a pig,but dont smoke weed,its looked at as a terrible stuff,worse then alkohol...... As an atheist in a secular society another power-hungry religion is the last thing I want to see anywhere in the world :). Again. Yes, a slow transition to English-only would be better. Not that English is all that great, but it is the only de facto global language.
@trevormadsen Жыл бұрын
@@fastertove It`s not about English, the topic is Danish and I am not comparing Danish to English. Danish is a vowel-centric language, with 90% Irregular and illogical grammar, and spelling unrelated to pronunciation. Vowel letters in Danish sound different sounds and there is no rule about it. For example "e" sounds six different sounds in the different words and you can`t find any rule to figure it out. There are lot of even consonant letters which are used and sound as vowels. For example "g" sounds both as a vowel and consonant letter, and you don`t know when and why. In this language there is not the common global verb: "to go", and they use some another verbs (must, take, drive . . .) instead "to go". Don't be surprised if you come across a Danish word that has 4 different meanings. Dictate and spelling in Danish is the most awful part of this language. What they write has nothing to do with the pronunciation. For example they pronounce "Randers" as: "ganas"!! Pronunciation of almost more than 90% percent of Danish words has nothing to do with how they write. Spelling mistakes in letter writing and email texts are very common and usual in this country. However, in the last 10-15 years, people use Google Translate to check and correct spelling of their own texts, before sending. Anyway, the presence of irrelevant letters in the structure of words can be a problem even for natives. In Danish, for unknown reason words can be written stuck. For example this is not "one" word, it is three independent words which are written stuck: "fremskrivningsfaktoren". Some times you can even find 5 different words which are written stuck. All that aside, musicality of Danish language is abysmal. And this causes trouble for immigrant people to comprehend the language. When you are listening to a conversation between two Danish people, you think that their tongue is injured and they are not able to talk well.

@@trevormadsen I don't disagree, why I recommended a complete move towards another language. English sadly being the only obvious candidate atm due to its sheer size. English isn't great. It has similar issues to Danish with a lot of words having nonsensical pronunciation/spelling. English is one of those languages, with many exceptions to the rules, and where you often can't hear how words are written - you need to remember a lot of words

@@fastertoveI really can not figure out the reason why you are insist on give a comment about English language!! This video concerning about Denmark and I just said about Denmark in my first comment! That`s all!😊 You can write your comment about English in some other KZbin-videos about Britain, United States, Canada, Australia and other English countries. By the way, neither English nor Danish, no one of them is my mother tongue. I have learned both of them (plus three other languages) as "second language" project. But none of those five languages tortured me, except for Danish.

@@trevormadsen Your first comment was about how bad Danish is. I agreed on your comment, and I then apparently abruptly and out of place - my bad! - went on to naming a potential solution, which was a transition to another language (English). I guess I'm a little to result-focused, while your focus were on the problem themselves. You are right, I jumped the gun and went a little off topic :) You then made some very valid observations about the Danish language. I guess the reason why I compared Danish to English, is how else would you quantify a language? You need to compare it to something else. In the case of Danish, it is such a small and some what unique language that it might not make sense to solve all those kinks and problems. Danes are among the best English-as-foreign-language-speakers, which makes it the obvious way out long term. Any way - Cheers!

@@Me_di Pourquoi es-tu raciste ? Tu ne viens pas d'Europe, parce que les Européens ne disent pas de si gros mots. J'ai les yeux noirs et les cheveux noirs. Je vais au Danemark et je me marie là-bas, et tu n'arrêtes pas de me critiquer parce que tu n'es qu'un réfugié ou un personne raciste.

Complaining about taxes in a nation where you have a well functioning infrastructure, free healthcare and free education is more a sign of lack of understanding how a society works. Would he like an American style system?
