Thank you for those who found my channel and enjoy my Reaction.I know some noticed I skipped some important things although, I was focused on what the game is like rather than watching the whole way through in the demo portion And I am a total noob with all of that so whatever I miss, I guess I rather discover when the game comes out 😅 There is indeed a song copyright issue that was being blocked, so viewers from other countries wouldnt be able to watch this, I see youtube did a terrible job in their end, apologies that portion is bad as Starset cannot be heard. Looking forward to more of the game when its out.

So Arknights is a long-standing powerhouse of the F2P Gatcha scene; it is made by the Chinese developer Hypergryph, now rebranded to Gryphline (like Mihoyo to Hoyoverse) due to starting a new game. It is a hybrid Tower Defense/Visual Novel game with insanely deep lore & world. There's also an Anime version available on Crunchyroll with two seasons & a third on the way that covers the game's plot for those who don't like Tower Defence! This game, "Arknights: Endfield" is a hybrid of Open-World ARPG & Base-Building Survival (think Xenoblade Chronicles mixed with Satisfactory or Astroneer) and is fully 3D unlike the original Arknights. The developers have said that, while the plot of Endfield is a sequel of sorts to the original, you will not need to know extensive lore to appreciate the game. Hope all that helps! (P.S. The group featured in the trailer is my favorite band on Earth, the Ohio based prog-core act "Starset" and the song is their newest single "Brave New World")

I think you missed the most important part of the gameplay demo: the base building. From what I know, battles in this game are not as important as the base building (satisfactory-type gameplay). Like you're building the factories, creating your own ziplines in game, building towers that aid your battles etc. And yes this game is an extension of the worldview of Arknights, but since it's like thousands of years in the future you can play it without knowing AK (but it would definitely help knowing things like race, history, etc.)

The lore of this game is huge. To put it simple, more than 10,000 years ago, humans were a powerful interstellar civilization that almost dominated the entire universe. The planet "Terra" where the story of 1st Arknights game takes place was just an undeveloped planet at the time, and what you see in the video, these humanoid creatures with animal characteristics were created by humans for unknown purposes. Humanity suddenly became extinct 13,000 years ago due to unknown reasons, even though Human's technological level has reached the level of God. The story of The Endfield is currently speculated to take place 500 to 900 years after Arknights. In the current Arknights story, the people of Terra are about to find the interstellar portal left by humans on Terra, and thus begin the interstellar exploration of the Endfield story.

Welcome to Arknights, small tipp, you slipped over one of the main parts of Enfield which is the base building ding aspect of the game. Which is a mix of satisfactory/ factorio. In general the game is set on a planet currently getting colonised and we are working for a company to get infrastructure there, as far as i know.

There is an anime adaptation of the first game. It only covers Arc 1 and it isn't perfect. But it's ckear it was made with love. :D The studio behind it also makes the animated trailers for events of the game.

ayy YT timeline recommend your vid. others already explain some information you maybe need. if you have spare time, and interest with world building in arknights, you can watch the anime. 2 season already (i believe it is from ch 0 to ch 6 for ingame chapter) i am gonna be real, the anime is not like "top wow" anime, but it is really solid to introduce new people to arknights world. give it a try 😁

@@JamesP7 SO even you already know one solution, great so a content creator should know to better prepare themself and maybe consider recording a second audio track in the first place. Second there are still other solutions like hard video editing and only taking seconds of segments for its reaction followed by the game-play for example, there are hundreds that have done that before. Last but not least, I don't care if ya all feel its rude to say how it is, if you don't like it go off the internet, Its my opinion that this video isn't even worth uploading and not worth the storage space that it takes up on KZbin's servers. It is for ME unbearable to listen to someones Voice when intentionally added bad.

Really I was just confused. @@oldcat30 Yup. And also, Arknights Endfield is not open world. Arknights Endfield have large areas divided into various interconnected zones, like Xenosaga for minimal example. Plus they have the whole 4 team member right there wth the MC on exploration just like like Xenosaga. Plus Factorio industrial system.
