Interesting. Dealing with this now. Just learned that I have a scoliosis. S-shaped, he tells me. Curve in my back and again in my neck. 57 yrs old never knew this, so must be age-related.

I have Thoracolumbar Rotoscoliosis to my Left Convexity and DDD (Degenerative Disc Disease). Do you have any videos or information on Rotoscoliosis? There doesn't seem to be much on Google or KZbin about this topic. I know that it is Scoliosis except with a twist of the spine. Dr said my curve is slight but the twist might be worse.

@@ScoliosisReductionCenter I am sure Dr Nadia has a good background but in his presentation he made errors--maybe just misspeaks....I am often suspicious because my PCP said I had no fracture because he took x-ray dept finding. And few of them have seen this degree of curse.. Advanced and safer therapy has resulted in longer better lives Using COBBS ANGLE? MY S curve was 95°/165° 10 years ago! My curve has for many years been progressive but I hope For stability. On first dx when 12 it was 35/20°. At 18 reached 55/45°. I had fusion and disk removal in 1998 and pain was gone...i read biked did sit ups. Etc etc. IT WAS WONDERFUL Then 2008 pain returned and Ortho who read x-ray said"OH MY GOD , I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR SURGEON DID". He let me see and I was devastated. The fusion of L1,L2,L3 HAD NO BAR STABILITY OR Fixation. SO CURVE WENT WILD. S curve was 90°,/150°. I had not been x rated til my falls etc began although pain was debilitating. It was 95/165 in 2011. NEUROsurgeons rarely do COBBS ANGLE. So I have no idea of current status except pain unbelievable and walking and daily activities hard I would. LOVE to chat with anyone with just dx scoliosis or long history of it! My email is in middle of this SAD STORY. LOL

Recently I’ve been hearing we should get physical therapy instead of chiropractic care, is that true? Pain relief only lasts so long between weekly adjustments I usually receive. I have mild thoracolumbar scoliosis.

I just discovered mine after going to orthopedic at 18 because of accident on a bike, I fell on my shoulder and noticed my chest became misaligned. My doctor said it was actually my spine inborn.
