You’d never know Mbappe has 344 goals and 163 assists in 475 career matches, is already the 9th leading Champions League goal scorer at only 25, has 48 goals and 35 assists in 86 appearances for France, has 12 goals and 2 assists in 14 World Cup matches, and has scored 4 goals in two World Cup finals based on how ESPN FC do absolutely nothing but keep slagging him off going back years. The problem I have with ESPN FC doing this is they constantly do it to top players like Ronaldo, Neymar, Lewandowski, Haaland, Lukaku, etc. The problem is not necessarily the criticism but the fact this channel constantly only focuses on the negative with these players while failing to acknowledge guys like Mbappe are the elite standard.
