I’ll answer the question and save your time. It is a way for Toyota to charge you for the little tech options you get comparative to other vehicles in its price range. Essentially toyota is ripping you off. You can buy an aftermarket remote start for $200 that works just as good. If the vehicle last 10 years you will pay $800-$1440.

Yup it’s so stupid how Toyota is charging so much my sister bought a used Toyota and when she called to try to set up remote connect they told her it would be $28 a month plus taxes I was like what the fuck why so much. I was honestly expecting it to be less since I only Pay $8 a month on my wife’s 2021 Nissan Altima, and I only pay $10 a month on my 2020 F150. Toyota is charging way too much

I just got my 2023 Toyota Sienna yesterday. It comes with 1 year free subscription. I don't find it very useful, a necessity, in short, I'm not spending $25/month after the FREE trial period.

$25 a month? That’s crazy man I pay $12 a month for my wife’s 2020 Altima and it has more features and $13 a month for my 2021 F150. Why is Toyotas so expensive?

@@Justaeuropeanman Just to let you know, on my LE Sienna, the only thing that shows on the phone APP with $25 subscription is User's Manual, Recall notification, Maintenance reminder, and real time tire pressure guage, odometer, and THAT'S IT!. Unless, you buy the upper trim, then you get more features on the phone app. It doesn't even show the vehicle location (map/coordinates). It is ABSOLUTELY USELSS.

We have a new Highlander and our problem is we can not get connected to SOS service. We have a "code" sent to our cell phone that will not work so we push the SOS button and the lady say's she will send us a new code....but nothing? Just do a video on getting connected?

Hi Aero, have you tried calling the Toyota Customer Support number? A few of our customers had that issue as well and we advised them to send a report to Toyota Canada in our case to let them know of the issue. We will be doing a video showing a step by step guide on how to connect your Connected Services and showing the SOS system.

Hi abby, Connected Services is only available on certain year and model Toyota's. Whichever type of Toyota you have, will depend on what features are available to you. To find out the list of services that are available on your Toyota, visit www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/about/connected-services

Hi mahmood, you wouldn't be paying for a monthly subscription for Toyota Connected services because it was not available in 2019. It started in 2020 on select models only.
