Never knew about this! Thank you for sharing information about this syndrome and what it means but also your own experience 💙💙

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while because a lot of people don’t know about it and I felt like it was important to share some of my experiences to show how it actually affects me and not just scare everyone. I’m glad for all these kind words people have been sharing 🦋

@@Roselylovely I’m very thankful you shared your experience as it helps others with Turner syndrome realise they’re not alone! You explained it beautifully too, no sugar coating it or trying to shorten it !! 💙 it’s wonderful people have kind words to say, very happy no one has decided to be negative since that happens a lot on social media 🫶

Well it’s not like a “get better” thing, but the meds help me deal with the symptoms and go through normal teenage things.

@@Roselylovely no problem and thank you I do too. I don’t have turner syndrome but I do have a rare genetic mutation in dystonia I think I spelt it right. I do also have a pretty normal life but just a few complications from the dystonia. I actually never knew a lot about turner syndrome but I have heard the name

Yeah it was definitely tougher as a kid, growing up with all those movies about people having kids and husbands, but shows like Bluey, FRIENDS, Shazam, etc, definitely helped show me that adoption is something to be excited about too, because adopted kids are just as much your kids as any other.

OMG WHAT?! It's crazy how rare it is that when someone says they have it I'm surprised. I've never met anyone else with it IRL but it's nice to know they're out there.
