watching this video the first time. Video was from 2012. And 8 years later, who would not have heard of Elon Musk, SpaceX and Tesla. Clearly, who got it right for "what value is". Bravo!

He did say that Elon started Tesla, which is completely false, Elon bought it, he even bought "founder" status so he can pretend he created it.

I'd say: start out _every_ new project with a team of 6-10 people, and set them a time limit of 2-3 months to build a POC, release it to production, and incorporate feedback from real customers. If you decide to continue, you can start up more teams. Make sure your architecture supports teams working on vertical slices as described in "Steve Yegge's Platforms Rant" (Google it). I'm writing a book on this for publication later this year. Sign up for my newsletter at continuousdelivery . com

Great prez. It really resonate with what I have experienced, but I'm working in a French Telco and I try to pass the message to 55+ mangers. I'm not young anymore but there is a gap. My mother is called Rita and I recently learned that St Rita is the Patron of hopeless causes. Maybe I should consider quitting.....

Jez, you mention there's no value in doing estimation, one argument against your idea that I've heard is managers use this to work out how many people should be in a team to work on all those features, or should they hire new people, what do you say to them?

Slides are here: slidesha.re / VASRXk The Sun marketing video is also on KZbin: watch?v=czYDshjmys4#t=6m20s to get to the pricing section, but it's worth watching all of it. And of course I meant to say Jack Welch was Chairman and CEO of GE.

Scrum doesn't work. The agile Manifesto doesn't exist.
